You need a car if you want to go to the city or restaurants...
You need a car if you want to go to the city or restaurants at night. I recommend to you take a hotel with good facilities (restaurant, bar, pool...) so you don't need to go out every night if you wanna have dinner. Tamandaré is super calm during low season, the beach is amazing, locals are super nice and gentle. Perfect place to make a family trip.Gustavo GarcezSpain

The main areas of town are a similar distance away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I had broken my toe whilst there (didnt break it at the hotel) and they brought up breakfast for me which was very kind. The pool was nice and service from the bar also good, plenty of choice at breakfast as well. The owner spoke English which was also helpful when we were looking to head onto Maragogi.
