We found the Hotel Raio de Sol to be a very friendly family run hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. The room with a balcony was very comfortable, and very clean and fresh. Breakfast was simple, but there was a good variety of fruits, breads, cakes, meats and cheese, aswell as juices. Plenty of sweetened coffee, and coffee without sugar. Hot scambled egg, hot sausage, and hot manjauka too. All delicious. It is very convenient for the schooners, the town centre shops, Praia do Moro, and Areia Preta, all within walking distance, and other beaches.
