After a 36-hour long journey, which included driving in the snow in Michigan, 3 flights, and a 4-hour drive in Brazil to get to Garopaba, Gisele (the manager of the Morada Prainha) recognized immediately how tired we were and welcomed us with open arms (and some treats) at the hotel. We immediately felt that we had come to the right place to get some rest and recharge after a very stressful year (and a long journey). In addition to having excellent facilities, the Morada da Prainha offers superb views, truly amazing beaches at Silveira and Garopaba, and a staff that is attentive to every detail to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. As we were leaving the Morada, my wife, my son and I were absolutely sure that this was the first, but certainly not the last time that we will stay there whenever we go back to Brazil for vacation or work.
