    Palhoça is a town "hidden" by the Florianopolis Island.

    Palhoça is a town "hidden" by the Florianopolis Island. But some of the nicest beaches are also there, to the south of the town itself. Praia do Sonho, Ponta do Papagaio, Pinheira, Pinheira de cima and the world class beach "Guarda do Embaú". If you want a nice, peaceful stay, choose pinheira de cima or "meio da praia", which is the middle of the pinheira beach. If you want to be closer to supermarkets, to a more populated area, go to ponta do papagaio or to the Ponta da Pinheira/Guarda do Embaú.
