Very beautiful historic city, great restaurants all over the place. Wonderful base for hikes in the Diamantina Mountains. Book tours from local companies, without a car it is challenging to get to the trailheads; we used Diamantina Mountains as our operator and were completely satisfied !

Lençóis is a place worth getting to know. The city is safe and makes you feel like home. People are kind and will make an effort for an enjoyable stay. I was very lucky with the travel agency I picked: Nas Alturas. I highly reccomend it.IlanaBrazil - 10Scored 10
The surrounding national park is AMAZING.
The surrounding national park is AMAZING. We did a three day trek which I highly recommend. We booked this through Paulo from Chapada Trekking Cross and were guided by Marcelo Mogli. Both are locals with a lot of information to share and extremely helpful, and speak English. We also did a one day car-based tour which I also highly recommend. Our guide here was Diego 'Dodo' who speaks fluent English and is great value. Book LOCAL guides who are registered. They know the history, secrets and how to stay safe in Chapada better than anyone else. PS the food is pretty great in town!

It’s super isolated in nature but if you shop and wanna just stay in nature it’s cool. There is no pool - it’s a pond and unless you like the brown tea water of Lencois then you won’t spend time in the water. It’s not unhealthy but I’m used to clear water so it wasn’t really something we enjoyed. Again - if you’re ok with that it’s not bad - just not our style - we like clean water. The place is super cute tho!

The location is perfect and super close to the main streets of Lencois. The whole house is super clean and the breakfast amazing - every day Roberta and her team prepared different special local food and created a feeling-at-home atmosphere. Before arrival, they also arranged a pick up from the bus station as well as two tours in Chapada Diamantina Nationalpark with English speaking guides! Totally recommend staying here!!

The room is simple but has everything a person needs to feel comfortable. The owner and the cook are very kind. Breakfast is very tasty with a lot if fresh fruits. I was allowed to stay after check out time, while waiting for the bus. The owner took me by car to the bus station. The location of the hotel is just 3 min from the centre a-from where most of the tours to Chapada Diamantina start. I wormly recommend this hotel.

Hosts Jonatan and Monique were extremely gracious and accommodating, the room was comfortable and quiet, and their breakfasts were the best I had during my nearly 3 week stay in Brazil. The hospedaria is just a couple of minutes on foot from the center of town with its bustling restaurants and shops. We were so amazed by the view from our window of the town of Lençóis, and this was enhanced by the beautiful vegetation around the property. We ate a delicious buffet breakfast which was unique each day. The best thing about my stay though were the amazing staff - particularly Amiel, who went above and beyond with helping me to arrange a take-away lunch for a day trip. You can contact them anytime and they are ready to help you with whatever you need!! They offered to bring our luggage to the busstation so we didn’t have to carry it ourselves, as the location of the hotel is a bit up hill. Furthermore the rooms are specious and super clean.
