The pousada is in a great location, just a short walk from the main centre of Pipa, but nevertheless very quiet and peaceful, situated in a large garden with mature trees populated by lizards and capuchin monkeys. The rooms are a good size with a large bed, good air conditioning, and a veranda or porch with a hammock and comfy chairs to relax outside. The good size pool forms an excellent focal point in the centre of the garden and is open to use at all hours with drinks available at the pool bar during the day. There is a variety of options for breakfast including fresh fruit, cakes, granola, as well as some cooked options. Hilda, the hostess, is warm and friendly, and enjoys mixing with guests and providing information and advice. Definitely a good choice for staying any length of time in Pipa.
