The breakfast was superb, as well as the cleaness and the staff. Location was also nice, albeit the entry of the parking lot, which demands good driving skills in order to not have an accident, even though it would be solved if the city mayor put a radar in front of the building.

Amazing architectural masterpiece in Ouro Preto. The hotel is great to wander around and the views from everywhere across the small city are great. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Some speak English, some do not, but that doesn’t matter as we always for there in the end. The hotel is incredibly clean. The workers are constantly cleaning and maintaining the hotel. The small swimming pool out front isn’t heated, but it wasn’t too cold, although I didn’t have time for a swim as I was busy exploring. The small apartment I had included a balcony with a stunning view across the city with a bedroom looking over the well kept gardens at the rear. It was great to wake up and listen to the birds and watch the clouds / mist drop over the mountainside. The hotel is close to some great restaurants in town.
