The property had great views and we appreciated being close to nature. The staff were nice and helped us segunda up day trips to the beaches/islands.

Literally a DREAM. My fiance and I came for a 5 day getaway and fell in love with praia vermhelha and were so happy with the pousada. The view, the location, yummy breakfast -paradise. Be prepared with bug spray but this is the place of dreams.

This place was one of the best places I've ever been in my life. If I could give it a 20 out of 10 I would. Room and view were absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Location was incredible, as there were lots of options (hikes, tours, beaches) for things to do. Isabel was extremely friendly and helpful regarding information about the island. Breakfasts were delicious in a beautiful setting. We really hope to be able to return some day.

Pousada Lagamar is a truly magical place, run by wonderful people in the most beautiful of settings. We chose the pousada for the beautiful ocean views seen in the photos, and our stay did not disappoint. The rooms are exactly as shown and the breakfast is one of the best we've ever had! Throughout our stay, Isabel, Ezequiel and their family went above and beyond to make us feel at home, answer our questions and suggest activities for the day. They also worked tirelessly to resolve an electricity issue, after a storm caused a power cut in the area. You truly couldn't ask for warmer and more attentive hosts! We were sad to leave and can't wait for our next stay at Lagamar. Muito obrigada, muchas gracias!!

I enjoyed the distance from the crowds of Ilha Grande, the owners and staff that made the beach and pousada area your own little town. The breakfast had home baked goods, breads, cakes and fresh fruit juices.

The location here is amazing if you're looking to be hidden away in nature. The beach is almost deserted and like paradise The view from the balcony with a hammock is divine Staff were very helpful with organizing transportation. Lovely place to have breakfast. It’s important to remember that Ilha Grande is a fairly remote island with no roads. So I think you have to put the accommodation into this context, and on that basis, we really loved Pousada Lagamar. Yes there is a little walk up to the Pousada but the perspective you get through the jungle rather than the just from the beach is really special. The rooms are basic but comfortable and there is house keeping every day. We loved sitting and looking out at the view and listening to the nature around us.

Pousada Lagamar is situated at one of the more remote beaches of Ilha Grande. It’s a perfect spot if you seek a relaxing yet adventurous stay. If you’d like to hike and have beautiful beaches, you are in the right spot. The stuff of Pousada Lagamar is friendly and attentive.
