A small beautiful mountain village with good restaurants, cafés, local artists, organic producers/sellers and beer brewers, good for trekking and mountain bike. Good eats: Bistrozim de Montanha, Carijó (try their craft beer and sausages), Mina (Hotel Botanique) and Ecco Parque restaurants; and Gelateria Eisland. Good treks: Trilha do Matão e Trilha do Cambraia. Good sports: go biking with the guide Renato and do a yoga class with Cris Good view: from Pico Agudo with the hang gliders. The hotel has great facilities, such as a lovely lake, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, mountain bikes and a small trail inside the property. The staff is incredible, always available to give great tips about the region and really really caring. Chico, the property dog, is a real hostess, he would come to our cabin and gently ask for treats. We love it!!!
