Beach and surf town with a very relaxed atmosphere.
Beach and surf town with a very relaxed atmosphere. There are many restaurants, but the very best food is outside the city in a place called Cafe com Cacau. The food and the people there are worth a trip to Itacare. For tours, you have only two options, in my opinion - Dona (Sra.) Cida, a 74 years old lady who will show you the beauties of Itacare beaches and forests. And Leo, he is a master tour guide who is born and raised in Itacare, he knows every place and everyone in town.

Small town with a nice shopping street near the harbour.. Nice beach for swimming with no waves as opposed to the surfer beaches nearby. Was a little nervous walking around on my own in some areas. Didn't see much of the town as I spent my days floating in the sea. As it was a short visit at the end of my holiday I didn't visit the amazing beaches nearby.

It’s just removed enough to be peaceful, but close enough to town that you can quickly drive down or walk, if you don’t mind the steep hill on the way back up. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The cocoa theme was super fun and made for some delicious cocktails and breakfasts. The pool was also a fantastic place to relax after long, hot days on the beach or hiking. The whole hotel is so wonderfully designed.

It's not Bahia, it's not even Brazil. It's a fake district that is so fake as a cinematographyc place. Fleed away from Itacaré. Go to Barra Grande taking a boat from CAMAMU. The roof terrace has a pool and nice views, perfect to relax after a day on the beach. Everything was immaculate clean and the administration was walkways helpful.
