Mucugê is a unique historical city.

Mucugê is a unique historical city. For the curious about the diamond era in Bahia, it is possible to experience. Besides history, being in touch with nature is wonderful, trails that lead you to beautiful cahoves and invigorating baths. It is worth to visit the Sempre Viva Project, the Live Museum of the Garimpo. In gastronomy, ah! a delight: Point da Chapada, Pizza de Garagem, Café.com, O Matuto, Casa Amarela Hamburger !!! A trip that can be made for all ages. Unforgettable trip!!

One of the two best places to stay for a nice visit to Chapada Diamantina. Also one of the best nature locations in Brazil for trekking and mountain biking, with added historical importance. It was one of the main diamond exploration areas in Brazil in the 18th and 19th centuries.
