Awesome, quiet cabin. Best AC ever. Host went and brought me my own bag of ice (THANK YOU!!). Responsive hosts when I needed assistance. Host was kind enough to recommend an AMAZING place to eat. Seating around the pool is comfy like a cabana with various seating options. Everything in this town is close, so this is close to a beach but a close drive to all downtown amenities and attractions.

Augustine Belize

We stayed in three other locations in Belize. This was the first hotel with coffee and sugar in the room, a pan with dishes for us to use; safe water was supplied. There is a small but very refreshing swimming pool. The place is quaint! We had two chairs outside of our cabin/room. Sitting outside, it's like a secluded paradise. We were within walking distance of a beautiful beach. It was the largest room on our trip; there was light to read in bed. Each side of the bed had a closet to hang clothes. There was a fold-down table from the wall. Just loved the place!!! Hope to return. Just down the street are nice resorts. You can use their beaches, but I think it is rude to do that without buying something, so we bought drinks and later ate lunch there.

My family & I were treated like family by the owners Peggy and Harold. They are the ultimate hosts, very attentive and kind We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our visit was to explore nature, hiking, waterfalls, and to learn about Garifuna culture. The rooms were very clean and well equipped for a quick breakfast/meal and to recharge after a day of exploration. There was ample coffee, sugar, creamer, fridge, and a toaster. Each day we had fresh beach towels and clean mugs, plates, and cutlery. The location is excellent, a stone's throw to Hopkins beach and several resorts where you can spend a day and/or eat at the restaurants or other nearby restaurants. There was even happy hour at the Jaguar Reef resort which had spectacular views. If you want a more local vibe Hopkins Village is an easy 15 min walk, or short bike/taxi ride away where there are several stores and restaurants. My family and I highly recommend Cosmopolitan; it was excellent for our needs.

Nice place with comfortable rooms. We liked the little details: a coffee maker (including plenty of coffee), fridge, cups and plates. The beds were fine and the shower great. We also liked the leisure area next to the pool, with hammocks and couches.

darling place, but the pool wasn't filled. We weren't able to stay because there has been a plumbing leak, but it looks like a good place and the staff were really nice.
