April 2024, The rooms were like brand new pretty much. Beautiful bath room. Very comfortable two queen beds and medium sized pillows. Kitchenette was all new as well and well equipped including a mini-dishwasher with provided pods. Very quiet area in the newer section of the hotel looking south towards Whistlers Mountain (3rd floor, Rooms 610). Nice large TV with SHAW Cable. Balcony facing the side parking lot but also the mountains. Plenty of room for our luggage and coats and including a small round dinner table and booth seating for 3 and 2 benches. Very large glass shower with body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided and hand soap and hand cream at the sink. Alarm clock with 2x USB connectors. Keuring coffee maker with many coffee pods and tea provided. Good and very quiet AC and heating. Really nothing negative about this place at all. The hot tub/spa if open, would have been the cherry on the very tasty cake!
We didn't go to the restaurants or comment areas near the main lobby, but it did look very nice with a great vaulted ceiling and nice relaxing atmosphere.
I would book there again tomorrow!!!

Clean attractive facilities. Very nice main lodge building.
Jasper sits in a green valley within a national park surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rockies. Water in its various forms has shaped the dramatic scenery and continues to create serene landscapes.
Tree-lined Lake Beauvert is the closest to town, but Pyramid and Patricia lakes are more famous thanks to the rugged peaks perfectly reflected in their still waters. Arguably the best of all is Maligne Lake whose incredible water colour is eclipsed by small, pine-lined Spirit Island. You may not know the name, but you’ll probably recognise the view.
Many glaciers come off the huge Columbia Icefield, roughly midway between Jasper and Lake Louise. Some have cut canyons where you can go ice walking. Other winter sports include ice skating and skiing at the Marmot Basin resort, named after local animals.
Bears inhabit the surrounding forests and more wildlife lives at The Den at Whistler Inn, just one Jasper accommodation option on Booking.com alongside mountain lodges and pet-friendly hotels with pools.
The Jasper Tramway – Canada’s highest cable car – goes to the top of The Whistlers mountain, and on the slopes of another are the Miette Hot Springs open-air pool. The Jasper-Yellowhead Museum details the area’s history, and traditional Haida styles and colours are celebrated in the modern Two Brothers Totem Pole
Spectacular Jasper National Park offers you the opportunity...
Spectacular Jasper National Park offers you the opportunity to visit the Miette Hot Springs, Maligne Valley, Pyramid Lake Island, Mount Edith Cavell, the Icefields Parkway and of course wonderful shopping and dining experiences in the town of Jasper itself. The shop keepers are friendly and helpful and the town takes great pride in its appearance. There are some long travel distances between areas so it's best to check ahead to ensure the attractions you wish to see are open. Jasper is truly the crown jewel of the Canadian Rockies, hiding in plain sight!

Jasper is a cute and walkable little town.
Jasper is a cute and walkable little town. But note, it's little....a lot smaller than Canmore or the Banff towns. Places to stay are also limited in comparison. But the skiing at Marmot was top notch and not crowded at all especially when compared to Lake Louise, Norquay, or Sunshine.

I love Jasper. The mountains views are awe inspiring. As many times as I see them, the mountains continue to amaze me. Jasper still has the local small town feeling that other mountain towns have lost over the years. Many businesses are run by the owners rather than franchises.

Unfortunately the ski season was a bit down this year. After really cold temps the week before we arrive, they experience warmer than average temps when we were their and snow quality was not real good. We still made the most of our visit by enjoying this winter wonderland and the sites that Jasper provides

To put the review in context, we were only in Jasper for a couple of days prior to the Winter Season to catch The Canadian to Toronto. This meant many of the major sites were not yet available to access. However, while there, what we discovered was a lovely small town that is the focal point for travelling to the beautiful areas in the vicinity. The people are very friendly and helpful and there are also plenty of excellent places to eat and drink.
It is worth the visit.

It's easy to get around Jasper.
It's easy to get around Jasper. They have just recently provided long-term parking, which works for those driving their own vehicle to get on and return from the Jasper to Prince Rupert Via Rail train run (Sept. 2023). We picked up Starbucks drinks, ordered food from a variety of restaurants that were yummy. Gluten Free/Dairy Free options are available at a few restaurants; no desserts though, as per usual restaurant fare.
Cute, new cabins close to the hwy with parking at the front door. Our host was very helpful in answering questions about Jasper and even made phone calls as we didn't have service in Canada. The rooms were very clean and the kitchenette had easy to use appliances. The fireplace started with a switch on the wall and kept us cozy during the rain. Floor mat inside the front door kept the floor clean. Glad to have paper, cloth goods and detergent to wash dishes. The outside maintenance was very well done!
The beds are amazing! We went in Jasper to do a lot of hiking (as most people I guess) and we were able to sleep peacefully in the room. The A/C is working well - which is important in summer and this year especially with the heatwave. Also, they do have a swimming pool and hot tub. We were very surprised that we were the only people to use them (whereas the hotel has lots of rooms). Location is great as well. 5-10 minutes walk from all bars/restaurants/shops/etc.
Location was perfect, really close to everything we needed (restaurants, shops and bars).
Beds were 10/10 comfy, had a great sleep both nights. Staff were friendly and were able to accommodate our request of an early check in. Pool was great, hot tub was hot! Will 100% be staying again, our new favourite Jasper hotel.
Great location. Staff were good. Room was decent. You don't go to Jasper for the inside of hotel rooms anyway. Liked that this end of town was quiet. Never had an issue getting parking or any of the other issues many people have complained about. Would stay again.
Rooms looked brand new with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The hotel also looks good from the outside so a good first impression. Great location for walking into the town of Jasper. Buffet breakfast was very good. Nice to have a mountain view from the room.
Good location. Really liked that there were outdoor hot tubs and an indoor hot tub and pool. I was happy that we didn't have to book a time slot to go into the pool/hot tub. Easy check-in process. Also great that it is a pet friendly hotel.
Really nice and comfy bed. Of course it's a historic hotel right in the middle of Jasper with bars & restaurant on site. Price is pretty ok for Jasper also parking provided. Amazing decor in the lobby and classic feel in the old building.
The location was excellent, the hotel is in the heart of downtown. The hot tub on the roof was an added bonus. Parking was easy and right at the door. The room was clean, and comfortable.
Perfect place, quiet, with swimming pool. Clean. Fridges, microwave, coffee machine. Great staff.
Jasper is a fantastic town, and this hotel makes you enjoying it a bit better.
Meg at the front desk gave the absolute best advice on what to do in Jasper. Stay here just for Meg. I stay at hotels ~100 nights per year and her suggestion made this trip.
World-class view on Jasper National Park, friendly staff and comfortable private and common rooms. The hotel is furnished with taste and has a great throwback atmosphere.
We spent our honeymoon at this hotel 8 years ago and it was a pleasant experience. We came back to spend the New Year In Jasper and decided to book again in this hotel.
Perfect location for a short stay in Jasper. The hotel is older and the decor is a little tired but we expected this and therefore we were not disappointed.
Very affordable hotel in Jasper. It’s just ok for one or two nights. The only good thing is that it is not expensive.
Our room was quiet. That’s a plus.
