the free laundry on site was wonderful...didn't have to take as much clothing and could wash them before leaving so you didn't have to return home to laundry. The room was serviced daily without asking. The staff did call to make sure everything was good or if they could do anything for me. Bed was super comfortable. Nice having the full kitchenette as well.

The location was quiet. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We had access to the kitchen and living room, both of which were beautiful. Carol was a very welcoming host and gave us a tour of the residence. The time of year and weather unfortunately didn't encourage the use of the patio and garden.

Our trip was in February, I wasn't sure if there would be enough indoor activities. There were plenty of attractions such as St Jacob's village. We loved walking around the village and exploring the many stores. There are at least two good sized antique markets. Thursday and Saturday there is an indoor farmers market. This was the highlight of our trip. The stalls are really interesting and a great selection of food to buy. There is also an outlet mall which we actually did not have time to check out. The local restaurant on Benjamin was very good. Family food, lots of food for a good price. Our trip was lots of fun.

On first entering the property I was very pleasantly surprised with the lovely lobby. Unfortunately, this initial impression was ruined when I noticed the state of the elevators which sadly needed a good coat of paint. It's amazing how the shabbiness of the elevators affected the overall impression of the property. I think they showed neglect and I was wondering in what state the rooms would be. However, mine was just fine.

We only came for one night.
We only came for one night. It has been several years since I was last there and all the new highways were confusing ( especially in the dark). We ended up using an Uber to get us where we needed to be. There are many places of interest but due to the weather we did not stay to explore. Centre in the Square facility in Kitchener is absolutely beautiful!

It was my first visit to the city and I was very impressed with all the trees, greenery and parklands. I loved the LRT (it works!) and I appreciated the good service I received from Waterloo Taxi company.
The facility is very modern and well-kept. The amenities are great, though the pool area could use some updating. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. The front desk staff were super helpful. Our rooms were not ready yet, but they set aside our luggage, put us in a really comfortable lounge area with complementary bottled water, and came to get us when they were ready. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous, a hot meal that was definitely a step above the usual hotel breakfasts.
I booked this accommodation because I don’t really like hotels. This place is an absolute gem!! I was greeted and welcomed with a short tour of the home and of my room. I stayed in the king suite so I had the entire basement which was gorgeous. I felt safe and was so comfortable. Extremely clean and I’m fussy. Really close to the university. Kitchen was gorgeous and spotless and fully equipped. I was just so pleased. Excellent place to stay, highly recommend!!!!!
Hammer Haus II is easy to find and close to the University of Waterloo. Carol and Andre are very kind, friendly and accommodating. Carol's home is sparkling clean and very well maintained. The Wifi was very fast and the kitchen was well equipped. They also provided some fruits which was an added nice touch.
There was a lot of parking available. This hotel is close to different stores and restaurants but it’s located in a quiet part of town. The staff was very friendly. My room was perfect for me! I especially liked how the TV could be pulled out so I could see if from the bed.
Overall, I had a great stay!
The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was varied, and the staff were all really friendly! I didn't get a chance to try out the pool or gym, but I really enjoyed the stay! I came mostly for the farmer's market and heritage train ride at Waterloo Central, so the location was perfect!
The hotel was clean BUT the staff made it great. Very very personable and professional at all times. Breakfast was terrific...had Starbucks coffee and Belgian waffles that were delicious. The shower was the best...very nicely designed, plenty of hot water and superb water pressure.
It's a great hotel; very clean and easy to find your way around. The rooms were very warm and spacious.
There is no bar for the evening in this hotel but they do recommend you go over the road to other hotels.
The breakfast was also good with a variety of choice.
The house is in a perfect location, just 10-15 min walk from the university of Waterloo. The house was very tidy and clean. The heating was working fine as well. The landlord is very kind and helpful. I would recommend this lodging 100% to my friends.
Good location near go bus stop and park Waterloo. Few restaurants nearby hotel work until 23. I was little bit late after 10pm but anyway was checked in by pleasant girl on reception. Cheap option in compare with others on weekend.
The location is excellent, within walking distance to University of Waterloo and many restaurants. The property management staff is very helpful, answering our questions and fixing the missing stuff in the room.
We liked the breakfast, very comfy room, very nice around st Jacob's market, felt country town. Nice restaurants and grocery stores near. Parking was free and had alot of space. Felt like 5 star hotel
The property is easy to access from University of Waterloo, well kept and clean. The host was very gracious and allowed me to leave my stuff while I went to take my exam.
