The city of Kelowna is beautiful and has everything a traveller should need. Beaches, many Restaurants and hotels down town with a great variety within walking distance, many shops etc. But prices are very expensive there for everything. A vehicle is a must to get to most attractions because it is spread out. Many vehicle rental companies at the Airport, and some bike rentals down town. I did notice some boat excursions trips offered but I didn't use. Taxi is available but I didn't need any because I had a rental vehicle

To express my disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my aunt received during her recent stay at your hotel. I had made a reservation for her and specifically informed the reception that she would be arriving at midnight. I expected the staff to be polite, sensitive, and accommodating, considering the late hour and the cold weather.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had anticipated. Upon my aunt's arrival, she was unable to provide a credit card as she had planned to pay for her entire stay in cash. They insisted on a credit card and did not offer any alternatives or accommodations for the night.
As there was a time difference, I only received the credit card form the next morning and can only send it on the same time. However, instead of understanding the situation and providing a solution, the staff simply called a taxi for my elderly aunt to leave the premises. I am appalled by the lack of empathy and disregard for her well-being. It is absolutely unacceptable to treat a senior guest in such a rude and disrespectful manner.
I believe that it is the responsibility of any hotel to prioritize the comfort and safety of its guests, especially when they arrive late at night. It is disheartening to see that the hotel failed to meet these basic expectations. I strongly urge you to address this issue and take appropriate measures to ensure that no other guest experiences such mistreatment.
I would appreciate an explanation for the actions of your staff and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I personally live in Kelowna but my home was sold to developers and have been basically homeless for 4 months so that’s why I’ve been staying at hotels.
Kelowna is a nice place , just living here is tough . Years ago they called Kelowna “Canada’s Hawaii” because of our beautiful weather. Getting around Kelowna is easy I would say . Traffic is crazy in the summer with only one bridge in and out of town towards Penticton or Van .

Just an overnight stay on the way home.
Just an overnight stay on the way home. Airport a mess with expansion construction. Long walk to shuttle, need to improve this, I have a disability and made it very difficult. Also no airport restaurants open late, nowhere to eat if you arrive on a late flight.

Kelowna is absolutely beautiful and inviting it has all the right qualities and attractions to make anyone feel comfortable and welcome in our community. The views that surround you are breathtaking and there’s a beach or creek within a half mile to mile radius of you almost anywhere in the city. Walking paths and hiking trails are also of abundance here and there is no shortage of places to explore. Kelowna is a beautiful city and definitely worth putting in your vacation budget. Make it a big budget too a sit is a luxury that you pay for as prices are on the higher end of the markets

I lived in the area for many years and other than during wildfire season, the entire region is spectacular. There is so much to do, all year round! There are 5 or 6 top notch ski resorts, more wineries, golf courses and camp grounds than you can count, and the lakes have amazing beaches - especially Kal Lake which has a tropical feel mid-summer.
The room is not massive, however, sufficient for two adults. Support staff was nice and proactive on keeping the property clean. The front desk took longer than usual for check-in. We had to wait for 15-20 minutes before we got the room keys. There is no charge for Parking and it is huge so one can always find parking space at any time of the day. Best part of the hotel is it's location. Near to highway & close for various eateries.
Thanks for the service.
This is our second time using this hotel while staying in Kelowna. It's wonderful if you have children especially if they love the beach because it's not even 200 m from the doorstep of the front of the hotel, it is also conveniently located just two blocks from downtown so it's easy to go out and grab a bite for dinner or walk the waterfront. The stuff is very friendly and accommodating and we will probably use this hotel again in the future.
We choose the hotel as it is close to University of British Columbia Okanagan. Great location, very clean hotel throughout and excellent hot breakfast. Lot of parking space. The swimming pool and the hot tub was very clean as well. Nearby restaurants offer excellent choice of food within walking distance. You can walk to a Nesters Market and Pharmasave as well.
Amazing property with a mind blowing view of Okanagan lake, mountains and Kelowna from the backyard. The Rancher sits in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. Just 10 mins drive to shops, restaurants. Nice amenities as host provides all required utensils for cooking, makes it best for family especially when you have kids. Very responsive host.
This is our favorite place to stay in Kelowna. The Coast Capri is located a short drive or nice walk from downtown restaurants and amenities, it is attractive and nicely renovated, clean, comfortable, safe, has free on-site parking and, best of all, the front desk staff are always friendly, remember us, and give great service.
Good value for the price. I have always stayed here in the past whenever visiting Kelowna. By no means its a 5 star hotel but we greatly enjoy the less, quieter places. Also the pool and jacuzzi are always a great spot to relax and see the view. Close to many amenities and beaches. Rooms and beds are super comfortable.
The location of the hotel was great. Close to the water, and close to all of the downtown restaurants and attractions. The staff were very accommodating, providing us with extra blankets, towels, and even wine glasses!
The value for the hotel was good. I would stay here again during a future trip to Kelowna.
We have a splendid time in our stay. aircon is cold and the comfort of our bed id perfect. We are a family of six and the room is good and enough space for us. we also saw dogs so I believe that it/s a dog friendly hotel which is very nice. Our stay in Kelowna is perfect with this accomodation.
We only stayed for one night, but both my husband and I were impressed by the look of this hotel from the start. Its downtown location was super convenient for dining and the show we were in Kelowna to see. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the city.
Location is very easy to find.Room its so clean and very relaxing. They meet our expectation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this location. Definitely I will rebook a hotel to them next visit at Kelowna. :)
The host made us feel very welcome. The home is spacious and very comfortable. Wonderful views.
Anna is generous and an exceptional host. She was our tour guide for downtown Kelowna.
Great hotel, staff were extremely friendly. Room was very clean. Layout was odd but it didn't take away from the stay. We are in Kelowna often and would love to stay here again.
The owners were extremely friendly and very helpful. They let us know where to park for the best value. They let my wife and I know about activities to do in kelowna.
It was very quiet and the array of restaurants on the ground floor was extremely convenient. The bus service from the front to downtown Kelowna is great.
