Welcome to Hillside Landing B&B in beautiful Digby, Nova Scotia! Our home is a Victorian 1910 home overlooking the Digby harbour. We have 3 guest rooms that include full ensuites, queen size beds (with extra cots available), a prepared hot breakfast and a balcony view of the Annapolis Basin off the Bay of Fundy. Includes free wifi. Lots of local restaurants/pubs serving fresh caught seafood dishes just steps away from our home. Whale watching tours off Briar Island, local golf courses and a local winery a just a few of the activities you can enjoy here. Also, you are only minutes from the Digby ferry that can bring you over to Saint John, New Brunswick.

We are Henry and Linda Wielinga, the owners of Hillside Landing Bed & Breakfast. We are excited to share our home with you on your travels through this beautiful and historical part of Canada. In 1783 Digby was settled by a hearty band of United Empire Loyalists led by Rear Admiral, Sir Robert Digby, Captain of the HMS Atalanta, a 24 gun Brigantine, leading the North American Squadron. In appreciation of Adm. Digby's leadership and guidance our early settlers from New York and New England named their new town in honour of their benefactor. The Town of Digby has been an active fishing and lumber producing community throughout the years. Famous for the delicious scallops harvested from our local waters, spectacular vistas of The Annapolis Basin from our waterfront, clear crisp air, and of course the incredible tides (28 to 35 ft.) in our harbour, we offer our visitors a wonderful opportunity to visit or to settle in for a relaxed way of life. There are plenty of restaurants serving fresh seafood, local golf courses, vineyards, walking trails, whale watching tours and more!
