Breakfast was good; cannot hold it against the Hotel because the other guests don't close the cover on the eggs and sausages an let them get cold.

For the Vegetarian in your life try La Belle Verte or Astoria Bistro. The Parks in Gatineau have plenty of equipment to entertain my VERY ACTIVE 5 year old granddaughter and close by is the Children's Museum.. It is easy to get around by car, bus or Bike. There is quiet a bit of road work going on at present

We went to Gatineau for a walking/hiking trip. It is close to the Gatineau National Park which has a lot of walking trails. It also has other walking trails along the Ottawa and Gatineau Rivers.
Great restaurants in the Old Hull area.
Shopping centres every where.
Lots of highways, hardly any road traffic.

I absolutely did not like the place.
I absolutely did not like the place. Not renovated in decades. Old, smelly and dirty. There was rotten, smelly pork in the fridge that felt warm when opened. We left after we've seen the place and booked another hotel this time. Hotels at least have standards that are verified. It was impossible to sleep there even for a night. I have been at other locations in Gatineau before and is usually convenient and close to all tourist attractions. Do not book this place

Front desk was fine and helpful.
Front desk was fine and helpful. What was not acceptable was no working air conditioning and no working heat. We had 2 false fire alarms where we had to evacuate from the 8th floor down stairs. No housekeeping as they were short staffed for 3 days!! Towels were thread bare. And after a long day, we looked forward to a nice soak in the hot tub but they didn’t have one! And pricing for a breakfast was way too expensive! Most hotels have something included.
I love everything about this hotel! I book there often and it never disappoints. I had a really really bad experience at another hotel I tried and so I went back to this hotel because it's always been exceptional in everything. Big kuddos to the lady at the restaurant who treated me so well, and she served me so much food I couldn't even finish it all. And they always allow late check out for me which I truly appreciate. Love them!
Check in to hotel was so easy and fast, very nice staff. The facilities are spotless as always. The room is very tastefully decorated, bed was super comfy, super fluffy pillows, we had a king size extra large room worth the upgrade.
Shower area and bathroom are over sized and lots of room for two to get ready for a night out.
The downstairs restaurant served us a high quality meal, great appetizers, good staff, nice atmosphere.
The hotel was in a great location right across from the mall and close to delicious food options. The bed was comfortable and allowed for great sleep. The woman at the front desk (I unfortunately do not remember her name) was very kind and friendly. She was very quick to assist us when we received a room that was not prepared for guests.
It was the only property available within 30 minutes of Ottawa during the Tulip Festival weekend when all the power went out in the area, so it provided us a place for our family of 4 (including a 2 and 5 year old) to sleep for the night last minute when our actual hotel would not allow us to check-in.
The location was perfect. It was a short trip to Ottawa where we enjoyed our concert, we were walking distance to the Casino and was a short trip to the Nordik spa for our next day adventure. The breakfast was wonderful as was our server.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
Location was great. Gatineau is part of Quebec but crossing the bridge is already Ottawa. So quite and across the street was the museum which is a big plus. Very clean surroundings and we take advantage of the calmness and freedom the place has to offer.
The kitchen staff, Stefan, Heather and Hussein were great! They're super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable. I really had a great time getting to know them.
Location of this hotel was also a plus!
It was a good price and value for our stay. We slept well and did not hear any noises from other rooms or outside. The check in process was fast and easy. It was also conveniently located to downtown Gatineau.
The breakfast was amazing (especially the fresh cinnamon rolls). The rooms were spacious and bright. They had some of the best black out blinds I've had in any hotel I've stayed in.
Great hotel, perfect location, apartment style with a living room and full kitchen separated from the bedroom . Covered and safe parking and great customer service
