Very cosy place! Nice view from the house! The breakfast options were superb! By far the best breakfast we've had. The hosts, Bill and Annette, were also very friendly!

Bill and Annette do provide your home away from home as the many reviews state. Greetings at the front door of their home, check in tour ensures you are comfortable through your stay, and, the breakfast is all it’s reviewed to be! From your welcoming email it is their goal to ensure your inquiries are answered through their vast knowledge of the BC interior and Kamloops region. Your day will be started right with a full breakfast menu of options, including food preferences and/or allergies accommodated. Daily fresh muffins are a take away much appreciated after the next drive or long hike. During the summer they maximize the use of the deliciously fresh BC fruits available through the local Farmer’s Markets. Whether you are rushed for time or just starting your leisurely visit to the BC interior and mountain scenery they will guide your decision making appropriately for your needs. They are very familiar with the routes to seek out the “Mountain Triangle” as they refer – Whistler BC through the Yellowhead valleys to Jasper Alberta or heading directly to the Rocky Mountains of Banff and the Columbia Valley – they have you covered.
Overlander B&B is best described as your ‘home away from home’. You can truly get a restful sleep in a quality bed in a very quiet residential neighbourhood and be on your way to the next adventure. Or, you could take a couple of days to recoup your energies, laze at the traditional home B&B, take some walks in their beautiful neighbourhood, round of golf or, hiking the mountains nearby – choice is yours. Local entertainment can include a hike in the nearby mountains and parks, visit to the nearby Privato Winery or a check on Tourism Kamloops to determine your best option recognizing your time available. Dinner is a brief 3-minute walk to the public Dunes at Kamloops Golf Course restaurant, or within a 20-minute drive to downtown Kamloops with numerous dinner options, especially international. A summer highlight is Music in the Park every night through the summer months – with Food Truck Wednesdays as a dinner option within the park! Great food with great options once again. Years of experience providing this nightly entertainment by a broad-spectrum of local, BC and national talented bands and individually.
Our location is on the north side of the North Thompson River in our beautiful Westsyde community in the City of Kamloops. Our home with separate patio entrance B&B is situated on the Dunes at Kamloops Golf Course enjoying the wide open vista of the North Thompson Valley. You will be welcomed to dinner at the public golf course restaurant a short walk away. Wildlife such as deer, coyote and rabbits are frequently seen by our guests along with numerous BC interior birds including Canada geese.
