Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the SkyTrain station. The room was clean, bathroom was shiny and everything of need was provided. The host was wonderful.

Conveniently located in a quiet Royal Oak neighborhood, this Burnaby, British Columbia B&B is 20 minutes’ drive from Central Vancouver. Serenity Bed and Breakfast is the brainchild of Richard and Jane. Richard is a retired paramedic whose quirky humor and love of people bring warmth to each guest’s stay. Jane has run a variety of businesses and has put her artistic talent to good use in decoration to transform Serenity into its current state of fabulousness. Her years of customer service experience make her the perfect innkeeper. This couple has been long-term residents of Vancouver and can recommend fun things to do and see around town. Guests often rave about how close our location is to Royal Oak Skytrain station and Serenity's superb level of cleanliness. Many guests from Seattle and Interior B.C. come back year after year and make us their regular vacation spot. We have built many wonderful lifelong friendships with our guests, over wine, coffee, and tea and used Serenity B & B to help our guests to celebrate special moments such as Weddings, Birthdays, and anniversaries.

This newly renovated character home has the most modern finishing in both technology and design. The living room and dining room has European design taste, while the bedrooms boost modern minimalist style. Our small number of rooms in a cozy atmosphere ensure guests are given the best accommodation service with attention to detail. Guests enjoy beautifully decorated rooms, and homemade gourmet breakfasts. Each room is fully stocked with a flat screen TV with cable and wifi internet, Kitchen and laundry usage are included with the price. Guests may also use our two bicycles and enjoy parks nearby (Deer Lake Park, Central Park). The spacious and delightful garden is a place where guests may relax or play. This garden is often frequented by butterflies, squirrels, and critters. Roam around nearby parks with our courtesy bicycles, or practice meditation or exercise with our yoga mats. Or, catch up on some reading from our book collection, or play board games next to the large fireplace. Our Serenity Bed & Breakfast is located conveniently by Metrotown Centre, Vancouver Canada's largest mall in the elegant and quiet Royal Oak neighborhood. We are 7 minutes walking distance to rapid transit skytrain, and only 20 minutes on the skytrain to downtown Vancouver and about 45 minutes using skytrain to the YVR airport.
