Amelie was great, she and her staff were very helpful during early check-in and she also offered us an extra toboggan ride ticket to cap our visit in Old Quebec. She didn’t have to, but the free extra ticket was a very sweet and thoughtful gesture. Thanks, Amelie! The hotel also gave us front row seats to the views and proximity to Lawrence River, Citadel, Frontenac and other nearby attractions. The location made it very easy and comfortable to see all the points of interest during our 3 nights there 😊

I loved the quirkiness of the hotel, being old and retaining character. The location was peaceful while being close to plenty of sights. No noise at night. The mini fridge had some tasty snacks too to keep me going when I got peckish. Overall a lovely place I'd go back to easily.

The hotel is very beautiful and well maintained. Amélie's attention is excellent. Everything is very clean. It is close to Fairmont Le Château Frontenac so the view is very nice. We will definitely return!

The best location in Québec City, hands down! The staff were all super friendly and spoke both French and English. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying there again when I visit Québec City next. The room has a private washroom, kitchen sink with a mini fridge, coffee pot and Kettle. Mini TV was nice.

The staff was professional, kind and caring! The hotel is at a walkable distance from absolutely EVERY ATTRACTION! There’s a 25$ charge for parking per day. I will surely comeback in spring / summer .

The location was excellent! Easy walking to everything in old Quebec City. A beautiful old building full of character. Loved having coffee or tea in the room as well as a basket of muffins. Everything was clean and cozy. It was rainy and they had umbrellas ready for us to use. Amelie is very friendly and helpful. She had wonderful suggestions of where to go and where to eat.

No better location in Quebec city. We had an outdoor balcony facing the promenade and the St. Lawrence.... nobody at the Chateau Frontenac has an outdoor balcony 😁. And we had parking right next to the building.

As a solo traveler, this hotel is perfectly located for travelling. The terrace in front of the hotel is always crowded with tourists, but I was free to go out late at night or early in the morning and take pictures by myself to my heart's content. Also, if you get tired while sightseeing, you can always come back and rest. And this hotel has friendly staff. She always treated me kindly. Instead of breakfast, I could eat two muffins from the fridge every day. Cookies and water are also provided.

We arrived at Hotel Terrasse Dufferin and WOW what an awesome surprise. We were greeted by Amélie, who instantly made us feel welcome and like we were the most important guests ever! The hotel in our opinion is perfectly situated right near the Chateau with views of the river. Our room was also great we couldn’t fault it, large and very comfortable. Amélie and Simon have only taken over the hotel recently, we wish them the very best in their new venture with all the plans for improvements they have and are positive they will be extremely successful. We will be back!!
