Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out.
Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.
Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.

Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga.
Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga. Also did a day trip to Aitutaki. Both places were great for snorkelling, need water shoes to protect your feet from the coral.
Night markets offered delicious food.
We used the local bus to get around the island.

There is something special about this place.
There is something special about this place. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt so relaxed and welcomed. We stayed at Club Raro Resort (Adults Only) and I can only speak highly about this accommodation. They have amazing staff and the restaurant offers the BEST ribs on the island! Rarotonga is so relaxed and peaceful, all the locals and business's are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. You can use your New Zealand dollars, so no need for exchanging money before your trip. Easy to get around the island via rental car, scooter, bike or bus. Koka Lagoon Cruises were excellent! Four hours of fun, beautiful fish to see, snorkeling, yummy lunch and an entertaining show on an island. Happy Hour at The Edgewater Resort were a great price and so good. I've been here twice now and Raro will continue to be my annual holiday from now on.

Where do I start.. the host for this beautiful Villa was very welcoming polite and very helpful, always checked up on us which we didn't mind made sure we had everything we needed, also gifted us fruits on our arrival. The stay here was awesome 💯 kitchen bathroom where spotless bedrooms the Same and the pool was the best part of our day to cool off in. Thank you Mama Dor and Halatoa we will see you again in 2023 same time.
A great glamping experience. The tent (it feels wrong to use that basic word when it's such a beautiful facility!) is well-equipped, very comfortable and clean. The gardens are beautiful, and the location is only a few minutes' walk from the main road if you need to catch a bus. The owners were exceptionally helpful vs other places I've stayed in the Cook Islands.
I arrived late but my hosts had checked in for me and left the registration papers for me to sign and give back in the morning making it very convenient after a long day. To be honest it's well worth your money. Their information book was awesome and helped me. It's not 5 star but the hosts, and everything make The Cooks Oasis 10 stars.
Best place to stay in Rarotonga. We loved everything. The staff, the villa, the beach, the restaurant, the cocktails, everything was just perfect. It's perfect for families with kids that look for comfort and a bit of luxury. This resort has nothing to do with other kid friendly resorts in the island. It's way superior.
The host Sunnie is the best. She prepared the welcome breakfast once I arrived. She also sent me to the airport on the day of my departure. I feel home away from home. All staff in the villas are friendly and caring. I definitely recommend to stay there if you plan to visit Rarotonga.
Anna and Rob were fabulous hosts, welcoming, friendly and helpful. They had good local knowledge of the best places to go to eat and tours that were available. The facilities were great, we had everything we needed and the grounds on the property were very well kept and inviting.
Perfect place to stay on Rarotonga. The hosts are fantastic and were very welcoming!! They were very informative and helpful with anything that we needed. We could hear the ocean from our apartment and the site is stunning to chill and have some dinner.
The Rarotongan is in a stunning location - probably the best we saw on the Island - gorgeous beach and clear water with plenty of coral for snorkeling but enough clear area to swim easily at all tides. And more gorgeous empty beaches around the corner.
On the beach with sea about 5 meters away at high tide (!) and best beach in Rarotonga.
Generously endowed with cooking utensils and condiments. Also lots of fresh fruit. Host supplied generous bonuses of fresh fish (Wahoo and Tuna) which were superb.
The beach was sheltered so not as windy as the Rarotongan side. No kids was awesome. Restaurant at the hotel was ok but could do we more variety. Fish sanctuary outside the restaurant was nice. Kayaks and paddle boards for free was nice.
Amazing location one back from the beach. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning in both bedrooms. Our favourite place to stay in Rarotonga! Highly recommended to everyone!
Location to beachfront ideal. Good proximity to Wigmores Supermarket, easy drive to Muri Beach and a few nice restaurants. Great snorkelling at Fruits of Rarotonga.
Plenty of places to eat and drink right on your doorstep...very friendly helpful staff...Rarotongan Brewery just over the road...check out their lager & pawpaw cider.
