Great location, good shower products, beautiful bathroom, friendly but distant people, fancy vibes. We had a problem with our curtains and they switched our rooms immediately, very friendly. Good breakfast and nice restaurant on top.

The location was perfect with lovely views over the port. Valparaiso is very hilly and the hotel is on top of one of the many hills which can be challenging, although there is a funicular nearby. Our room was very nice and breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely helpful with advice on where to eat, what to see, booking a transfer to the airport and so on. We were able to check out late as we had a very late flight at no extra cost.
In addition there are lovely public rooms for reading and a beautiful garden for relaxing in.

We stayed as a family of three for 4 nights to discover Valparaiso and surroundings. Paula and her team made us feel right at home from the start - providing a lot of local recommendations from restaurants to sightseeing.
The rooms are spacious and we loved the design - and had a great view of the city and the sea from our window. And the breakfast was superb :)
The location is very convenient - right at the top of Cerro Alegre next to some great restaurants, surrounded by street art and viewpoints.
We hope stay again some time!

Valparaiso is a vibrant colorful mountainous coastal town which we really enjoyed. There were several hillside dining options with fantastic views of the port town. Color murals painted on the buildings and walkways throughout town were fantastic, and added to the overall vibe of the city.

Cool city with an artistic vibe, lots of street art, young and older music artists etc.
Had a guided tour around and would recommend that to get a full view of the old-part of the city.
Also check out the live-music scene, had a great experience going out to their live-music bars/ open mic gig and it was high level.
I did not experience any bad, but they say don’t go alone home at night, it can be a problem with theft.

Not much to see, just quite a lot of beatiful grafiti, some vintage "ascensors". Beaches are quite far away.
But the city itself is downright filthy and not very safe. Many locals told us. Some MF took my girlfriend's cell phone and ran away. I chased him and got the phone back, but when I caught him he reached under the t-shirt probably holding a gun. I only had a knife so I gave up my vengeance. Be very careful even during the day!

Valparaíso is a beautiful place with very nice streets with loads of art. It’s has also nice beaches quite close. If you enjoy being on a beach a few days, it’s a good place for a few days more. If you don’t like to spend days at the beach, 2 days are enough, in my opinion.
The Restaurant „la casa verde“ was my favorite restaurant. The food and the pisco sour have been very delicious and the staff was very kind.

Filthy, dirty and smelly port town and not at all what I had imagined and hoped for. New Year's Eve there was special with the concert and fireworks but apart from that , there's nothing there. The streets stunk of urine and that was even before NYE ! It was truly an awful experience.
The room was nicer than I thought based on the pictures. It was really snug and the street on which its located is peaceful and nice. The roof terrace is really nice, with great views over the city. The common area with kitchen and sitting space was well equipped. Though it was very basic, I liked that there was breakfast. The hotel is close to the nice areas of Valparaiso. The staff is really friendly and the male owner spoke really good English.
A wonderful boutique hotel ideally located in the heart of the historical district of Valparaiso. Catalina was very helpful in recommending different restaurants (the best was Maralegre which happens to be nearby). She even gave me some coins from her own wallet to take the ascensores as I did not have pesos with me. Everything served for breakfast is home made, and you can tell. I can only highly recommend this place when staying in Valparaiso
The location of the hotel was phenomenal, right in the middle of a safe tourist area!! Best part of the hotel was it was more of a bed and breakfast and so peaceful with such beautiful gardens on all of the property!! The owners and their staff were exceptional and help us with our every need!! Wonderful comforting hosts. We would stay there every time if we were to visit Valparaiso!
- plenty of bathrooms, always enough toilet paper
- FINALLY a decent comforter for the beds in Chile. Other hostels use a heckton of blankets that still leave you wanting for something warmer. This is it! Best I have slept in weeks was here!
- socket right next to the bed
- plenty of lockers to choose from
- yummie breakfast
- fast and cheap laundry service
Such a fabulous property in the heart of Valparaiso! The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, helping to arrange a car from the Santiago airport and an emergency driver when our wine tour was disrupted. Spacious room, well-appointed kitchen area, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, and a lovely private patio...we wish our stay had been longer!
This hotel is safe, clean, comfortable and beautiful. It has beautiful gardens and view of the ocean. Loved the breakfast. Room was small but cozy and beautifully decorated with a garden outside its door. Staff was very friendly and provided ideas to explore places in Valparaíso and Viña del mar. It is very conveniently located.
Me and my brother travelled for 5 weeks in Chile and this is the best place we've been! The hosts are amazing, very kind and open to all questions. The room and beds were perfect, simple and clean. The place also has a rooftop lounge where you have an amazing view over the city. In my eyes this is the perfect hostel.
This hotel is beautiful and very charming. The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Views from the restaurant are gorgeous. View from our room was beautiful apart from the 1 tower block, but there’s nothing they can do about that. WiFi was pretty dent too.
Wonderful view. An older property but just quirky enough to be a great experience. Great bar/restaurant with wonderful patio. Super staff serving a great breakfast and four friendly dogs. Just super experience in a most interesting part of Valparaiso. I would gladly go back.
Beautiful hotel with excellent rooms that look out over the city. The included breakfast was superb, and the restaurant is great, with a beautiful outdoor setting. Access to local sites is really good, by walking around or by walking to the nearby funiculars.
It was the best property during my trip in Chile. A wonderful building, beautifully decorated, clean, well-maintained, in a wonderful, colorful, but quiet neighborhood, with a amazing terrace and view. The staff is very nice and willing to help with every way.
Nice hotels in the hills of Valparaíso. Just a 5 min walk to the city centre. I liked the dorm style because you have a small cabin for yourself, locker and power outlets with every bed. Staff was friendly and hostel clean.
boutique hotel in nicely renovated property, beautiful view on the Valparaiso port. both rooms we booked met expectations. very helpful staff at any time during day and night. great breakfast. great value for money.
One of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed at! I loved it. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was great as well. I loved the roof top and my room was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is extremely well located in cerro Alegre. The room was very spacious end the breakfast was perfect. A special note to Hector who hosted us in an amazing way.
