This was our best stay in Chile by far .Christina and Carlos have a lovely house in a lovely location and by the end of our three day stay it felt like we were staying with friends instead of hosts . It is a pity we couldn't have stayed longer. Relaxing and comfortable , the towels for example were the best quality I've used in a long time. Information about activities and restaurants were especially useful with the superb local restaurant one of the most unusual I've ever seen.

One of the gateways to Patagonia, less than 2 hours drive from Hosteria Pehoe. Direct flight from Santiago, everything is convenient, except there is no car rental place at airport. But it is only a 10 min taxi ride to town.

I chose Puerto Natales because it has an airport close to Torres del Paine.
I did four excursions to view the outdoor beauty of southern Chile.
I walked to the bus station to acquire information ... I was pleasantly surprised that a bus can take me futher south, near the tip of South Amarica.

Puerto Natales is a very cool town.
Puerto Natales is a very cool town. We stayed in the park for 2-3 nights and in Puerto Natales for 1 prior to a flight early in the AM. We enjoyed walking through town and had EXCELLENT food at La Disqueria!! It seemed like there were MANY options to stay in PN and travel into TDP - which would be much more cost-efficient than staying in the park! A great city!

There isn’t a whole lot to do in the town itself, you can probably see everything in one day, and the weather is unpredictable even in the summer. It’s walkable and there are some cool shops and restaurants that largely cater to tourists. Most people come here because they are going to hike or tour Torres Del Paine, to see the glaciers, or both, and they don’t want to spend $500 USD or more per night to stay in the park. Figure out how many excursions you want to do, and give yourself an extra day to check out the town.

Puerto Natales is an easily navigated small town and a good jumping off point for tours and trips to Torres del Paine, one of Chile's most famous national parks and hiking trails, as well as for catamaran tours to see the glaciers. The town is equipped with a number of good restaurants, outdoor/sports stores and supermarkets, making it a good place to stop before and/or after excursions. It has a beautiful waterfront. It is cool year round, cold in the winter, keep in mind this region of Chile includes Antarctica so you should always be prepared for wind and cold, although we did have a few relatively warm afternoons.

This is a launching point for treks, adventure hikes, wilderness kayaking trips, etc. During the season, it's crowded with tourists in transit and usually here just for a night or two as they embark or return from an excursion to nearby Torres del Paine, or other areas of nature to explore. It feels like the bulk of the restaurants, shops and stores therefore cater to the needs of monied tourists and so it's expensive.
Bories is a picturesque property for travellers to spend a day or two close to Puerto Natales on their way to Torres del Paine. The stunning views of the mountains, a lake and a llama add to the vibe.
But, what really stands out is the hospitality of Carlos and his wife. It has all the essence of a family owned and run boutique. Carlos spent over 3 hours, during our time there, helping us plan our activities in great detail across the park. As a bonus, do check out the stunning pictures he has shot of the region for the last 20 years.
Friendly and warm-hearted accommodation in close walking distance from Puerto Natales bistro terminal. Ideal if you head for trips with early departure dates.
Good-value-for money. Warm, clean and nice shower pressure (ideal after a long hiking trip). Basic breakfast included as well as a restaurant and bakery that offers additional food and drinks.
If you book a second stay (e.g. prior and after the Torres del Peine national park) they offer free storage of of your luggage.
Clean, comfortable and quiet room.Delicious breakfast which we could have at 5.30am when taking an early excursion.
In the center of Puerto Natales so close to restaurants , tour agencies , car rental and about 12 minutes walk from the bus terminus. Good WiFi connection. Hot water all the time we were there and heating which we could adjust to our liking. Reasonably priced.
We loved this hotel and would definitely choose it if we come back to Puerto Natales
Great location, very near the Plaza de Armas. Beautiful big room. The greatest shower in the history of the world...giant shower head with wonderful flow. The pool is heated to 24 degrees, so slightly cool, but nice none the less. Breakfast is nice ( and the ladt serving beeakfast is a wonderful, very nice person who is very helpful). Wonderful hotel, and overall incredible value for money (I stayed in the last few days of September, so still low season)
A warm and welcoming atmosphere and architecture invite you to lounge in its lobby for hours contemplating the Patagonian scenery. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything you might want, from meals to tour scheduling. They also had the best food anywhere near Puerto Natales (you have to try their Chupe de Centolla!). Much more cozy and inviting than its neighbor hotel.
This place was perfect. We are only a couple so there were two extra twin beds in a loft area (and I believe a pull out sofa too). This would be the perfect place for a family on a more extended stay in Puerto Natales. The kitchen had everything you need. Great view of the water. So much in walking distance and at an excellent price, this place can't be beat. It was truly excellent.
Hotel is perfectly located in the center of Puerto Natales, the staff is super friendly and was happy to accommodate early breakfast for us because we had to leave early. There is a very nice area both upstairs and downstairs where you can relax. The room was nothing special, but clean and well-maintained.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Everyone spoke English very well, which was nice for our group. The morning breakfast was just what we needed, especially with the cooked to order scrambled eggs! I've stayed here three times and would definitely recommend it to others visiting Puerto Natales.
When staying in Puerto Natales, it makes sense to stay at the Hotel Australis. It has great views over the water, the rooms and food are good - it is exactly what you need either before or after a trip to Torres del Paine. Great value for money, no complaints about staying here.
This hotel was a nice surprise. We had been staying in other hotels in Puerto Natales, and chose the Hacienda Dorotea because, this time, the others were sold out, and wished we had found this gem sooner. Not to mention that this brand new hotel has a great history behind.
One of the best hostels I have been in Chile, very comfortable, clean, and very well located. The owner of the hostel Marcos runs the hostel and is very friendly. He knows places to eat well and cheaply, cabs, travel tips and flexible checking hours
It is a very modern apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The place is very clean and at a great location. Communication with the host was great. I honestly think that this should be your first idea of a place to stay in Puerto Natales.
Amazing setting. The perfect place for us to base ourselves for tours in the area. Torres del Paine. Horseback riding near Laguna Sofia. Superb meals in Puerto Natales and best of all our fabulous and helpful host Javier. Perfect !!
It was my favourite of all my accomodations in Chile. A cozy, colourful place. Good breakfast! It was a pity that no room was available when I came to Puerto Natales a third time :)
10-15 minutes walk from the bus terminal.
Location is great. Just a few steps from Europcar, the only brand name car rental place in Puerto Natales. If you land in this town and have a rental car from Europcar, this hotel is the hotel of choice.
This is the best hotel I have stayed in since traveling to Chile for more than ten days, with a warm, comfortable, and beautiful environment. I think I can stay here for a year.
We booked the Hotel for a short stop on our way to Torres del Paine. Good price, room and facilities for a quick stay. The location near the Bus station was very convenient.
Javier was a great host. The accomodation was perfect. We really loved the hot tub and the views. Teo the dog was also very welcoming. Would stay again if in Puerto Natales!
A beautiful little bungalow in a great location in Puerto Natales.
A comfortable bed, and plenty of space. Outside it was quiet and everything in walking distance.
