Nice place with a beautiful view. Payment was very difficult. Took my several hours for several days to troubleshoot. Booked with American Express Card. Once arrived, did not accept card, nor Visa. Wanted bank transfer; then Western Union wire; then cash (in Peso) in drawer. Tried everything (expect drawer); but noting worked and could not use any cards in any scenario. Finally got Peso ($600 US Dollar) through numerous bank machine withdrawals (as limited), then had to use to wire Peso via Western Union (as I refused to leave $ in drawer with no record of transaction). Everything felt very shady. Still have not received any receipt of transaction. At least I have record of wiring the amount. Also; reception had no record/information of our reservation. Lastly; parking gate control stopped working. Otherwise; comfortable place with a beautiful seaside view.

This is a beautiful city with a great beach area. During my visit it was not crowded and a bit cool. I spent a lot of time just watching the ocean crash against the rock out-cropping. I love ceviche and I had some delicious meals in Vina.RubinUnited States - 6.0Scored 6.0

I have much better expectation. NIce seea, cold water (htat I knew)... but the city is not very nice, very little things to do. I think it is overvaluer becouse it very close to Santiago, so local people pay sort of "convenience". A happening place, the sea breeze and the beach right there. Downtown was fun; shopping and a pleasant visit to the Vergara park, just in time for the artisan fair that will run till Feb 5th. We love it so much so coming back again in February. We stayed at Hotel Diego, very clean and a well run hotel, awesome breakfast. Restaurant menu could include some Italian dishes, food was bland. The location is awesome; walking distance to the beach, streets full of eateries; we had Peruvian food at Aji-Seco and Indian food at Ambika Restaurant was excellent.BarathiSingapore - 8.0Scored 8.0

We visited Vina very briefly as we were staying in Renaca, just a little further along the coast. Both are beautiful places and there is plenty to do. Restaurants and local businesses are open and observing COVID precautions. There are some great restaurants in Vina and the beaches are nice, though ideally one should visit on weekdays rather than the weekend, as on saturday and sunday the beaches are incredibly overcrowded. Not only is this not particularly comfortable, but also during the pandemic is less safe.

I'm happy to report the TV in the room is now working, as is the safe. The location is fantastic. Close enough to the Pacific that the crashing waves lull you to sleep at night, while the seagulls gently wake you with their early morning cries. Staff is very friendly and attentive, the breakfast is great. Good water pressure in the shower. Great price to value ratio. Simón the hotel poodle is friendly and adorable.
