The historical connections with Caldera and the UK are...
The historical connections with Caldera and the UK are fascinating. There are some interesting buildings and the introduction of the railway to Chile is very interesting. The harbour area and the Plaza are pleasant areas to wander and relax with a beach nearby. Excellent beaches to the south are well worth a visit but expect some to be be busy in the main holiday season.

The owner was kind enough to let us check in very early after a long night bus. It’s very clean. Very near the bus station. Walkable to the centre and to the big supermarket. Very clean and a good breakfast.
