Great location, good shower products, beautiful bathroom, friendly but distant people, fancy vibes. We had a problem with our curtains and they switched our rooms immediately, very friendly. Good breakfast and nice restaurant on top.

The location was perfect with lovely views over the port. Valparaiso is very hilly and the hotel is on top of one of the many hills which can be challenging, although there is a funicular nearby. Our room was very nice and breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely helpful with advice on where to eat, what to see, booking a transfer to the airport and so on. We were able to check out late as we had a very late flight at no extra cost.
In addition there are lovely public rooms for reading and a beautiful garden for relaxing in.

We stayed as a family of three for 4 nights to discover Valparaiso and surroundings. Paula and her team made us feel right at home from the start - providing a lot of local recommendations from restaurants to sightseeing.
The rooms are spacious and we loved the design - and had a great view of the city and the sea from our window. And the breakfast was superb :)
The location is very convenient - right at the top of Cerro Alegre next to some great restaurants, surrounded by street art and viewpoints.
We hope stay again some time!

Rodrigo & Paula and their staff went above and beyond to meet our EVERY need or desire. They assisted with early arrival requests, helped with dinner plans, provided inexpensive taxi options to attractions and our ship, provided everyone with a complimentary bottle of wine and assured the room was cleaned around our schedule.
I so appreciated for the wonderful time we had at this beautiful boutique hotel. The service by all of of the staff is exemplary. It's one of the nicest breakfasts - in a perfect setting - I've ever had at a hotel. The main attraction is the beautiful view of the port from our room. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the vast common space was utilized by us at various times throughout the day. Please know we very much enjoyed our four days and three nights at the CasaBlu. I can't say enough about the entire staff. If I'm in Valparaiso again, there's no where I'd rather stay! You'll be happy with this wonderful facility.

Valparaiso is a lovely artistic town. We enjoyed our day there. The area of Valparaiso we stay in was very walkable, although you can call for a cab for going further out. We enjoyed our stay at Casa California and the area around it. We ate at a little Cafe, Maria, Maria for breakfast on Beethoven Street, just a few hundred feet from Casa California. And you can take photos of the piano steps and walk up them. We had dinner at a bar and restaurant just up the hill and around the corner, a block or so over. We also had dessert at a cafe across the road from there.

Valparaiso is a vibrant colorful mountainous coastal town which we really enjoyed. There were several hillside dining options with fantastic views of the port town. Color murals painted on the buildings and walkways throughout town were fantastic, and added to the overall vibe of the city.

Cool city with an artistic vibe, lots of street art, young and older music artists etc.
Had a guided tour around and would recommend that to get a full view of the old-part of the city.
Also check out the live-music scene, had a great experience going out to their live-music bars/ open mic gig and it was high level.
I did not experience any bad, but they say don’t go alone home at night, it can be a problem with theft.

Not much to see, just quite a lot of beatiful grafiti, some vintage "ascensors". Beaches are quite far away.
But the city itself is downright filthy and not very safe. Many locals told us. Some MF took my girlfriend's cell phone and ran away. I chased him and got the phone back, but when I caught him he reached under the t-shirt probably holding a gun. I only had a knife so I gave up my vengeance. Be very careful even during the day!

Valparaíso is a beautiful place with very nice streets with loads of art. It’s has also nice beaches quite close. If you enjoy being on a beach a few days, it’s a good place for a few days more. If you don’t like to spend days at the beach, 2 days are enough, in my opinion.
The Restaurant „la casa verde“ was my favorite restaurant. The food and the pisco sour have been very delicious and the staff was very kind.
We stayed there for 3 nights with my wife and our daughter.
Generally speaking this boutique hotel was a beautiful surprise.
The house seems average from outside but never judge a book by its cover!
Great interior design, cosy, real wood floors, super cute patio, AND the shower works well! Which is not that common in Chile.
The icing on the cake was the owner and the staff, super friendly and accommodating.
Last but not least, it is walking distance from pretty much everything you’d like to see as a visitor.
This is a much photographed location/hotel. I have to say it is authentic, which in Valparaiso means a bit bashed up. It's old, which I like, but this means no luxurious comforts like amazing shower heads. The shower was fine. The room was small. I liked it more than my wife, who kept getting back to the value to rationalize my choice. Tours walk right past, and one can reach a lot of the sights from there on foot. Best location. Nearby restaurants. Art tour area.
Beautifully restored, tastefully decorated boutique hotel with ample interior and exterior spaces to relax. Walls adorned with eclectic artwork. Impeccably furnished garden terrace. Breakfast was excellent - best we had in Chile. Plentiful fresh fruit, savoury pastries, scrambled eggs, just squeezed juice and great coffee.
Filtered water was provided in the room and available on demand.
Great location. Would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is well located in a quiet section of Valparaíso. A few minute walk to Cerro Alegre. The staff is excellent ;they are warm, friendly, professional, responsive, welcoming. Breakfast is great. Beds are quite comfortable. The hotel is clean. The view of Valparaíso harbor is beautiful, especially at night from the terrace. This hotel is reasonably priced. It was a great choice. We plan to stay again when visiting Valparaíso.
The location of the hotel was phenomenal, right in the middle of a safe tourist area!! Best part of the hotel was it was more of a bed and breakfast and so peaceful with such beautiful gardens on all of the property!! The owners and their staff were exceptional and help us with our every need!! Wonderful comforting hosts. We would stay there every time if we were to visit Valparaiso!
This hotel had the most different architecture I have ever experienced, built out of containers. Great creativity was striking throughout the hotel. The view from my room and balcony towards Valparaiso and the Pacific Ocean was absolutely amazing! The three young girls of the staff were very nice and service-minded. The breakfast, served at the top roof restaurat, was fine.
René and Carolina are the best hosts. They are very disponible, with good advices, helpfull, and very nice people. The breakfast is fabulous (balanced and diversified) with a new home made twist every morning. Our four days stay was the best time we had during our three months in Chile.

It was close to public transportation, and walking distance from Murals on the hills. Close too many restaurant choices, and public parks. The hotel was quiet and clean. The continental breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable and very quiet.
The hotel staff went out of their way to make outstanding dining recommendations and reservations, a true highlight while we explored our way up and down colorful staircases and funiculars toward a reserved table awaiting us on a balcony while the sun set over Valparaiso.
Beautiful hotel with excellent rooms that look out over the city. The included breakfast was superb, and the restaurant is great, with a beautiful outdoor setting. Access to local sites is really good, by walking around or by walking to the nearby funiculars.
The hotel is in a safe, convenient location near many good restaurants. The sea-view rooms have spectacular views from their windows and balconies. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel has period charm and funky but comfortable renovations.
Great hotel with an awesome staff. They have private parking so that was great for us. Wifi was also great when we had to use it while resting from getting to know all the cool spots Valparaiso has to offer. In general, Ultramar was a great hotel.
We spent one night at this modern hotel at the centre of Cerro Alegre in Valparaíso. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. We loved having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant terrace overlooking the city.
best hotel in Valparaiso, pay up for the top floor room with ocean view as the view is so worth it and you won’t need to go to any of the restaurants that boast great views. Lovely breakfast and Pilar is great!
One of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed at! I loved it. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was great as well. I loved the roof top and my room was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!
Best place ever in chile, the place is cloth to the center, the breakfast is really good, the boss and the staff and the cat josephin😉 are really cool and creat a good atmosphere !
