Jinan is a beautiful, vibrant city.
Jinan is a beautiful, vibrant city. It is very convenient to travel around to all the scenic destinations. All the parks, the city centre and the 1000 Buddha Mountain are all worth visiting. The musical fountain in the centre is lively with entertainment and local line dancing groups adding to the festive atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants around to choose from, catering for local food at very reasonable prices, to up market restaurants. It will all depend on what you like. A walk next to the river at dusk is a must, as is the spectacular sight of the big Buddha and the view from the top of the mountain. Ji'nan caters for all types of travelers. Definitely worth a visit!

It was easy and very cheap to get around Jinan whether it was by bus, taxi or uber. Did not like seeing squat toilets in big modern shopping centres. Crossing busy roads can be very dangerous as there are too many beeping cars, buses and scooters everywhere. Daming Lake is a good place to visit. Having Starbucks Coffee and other familiar western food places there was good to see eventhough most staff speak very little English. Overall a nice safe place to visit.

We were not there for very long at all but the food street was great, we ate scorpions, and enjoyed walking around Thousand Buddha Mountain. I would highly recommend the luge down!
We used buses and taxis and found it very easy to navigate.

About Spring Park and Daming Lake well worth walking around.
About Spring Park and Daming Lake well worth walking around. Boat ride in the western end of the lake is also a fun and not expensive activity.
City skyline is good to view at night.
Quancheng Square is full of interesting sights and local activities in the evening or weekends.
Snack street Furong jie is worth a wander as well.
A bus trip across town for 2 yuan can give you a sense of the non CBD areas and the character of Jinan.

Jinan is a chaotic city with motorbikes lying around everywhere! There are lots of things to see and do around the lake and the mountains! The old town is very crowded but lots of good cheap food! Not tourist prices!
Professional, friendly and courteous treatment by staff exceeded expectations; efficient check-in procedures and follow-up interactions; excellent condition of room (suite interior design aesthetics) and hotel facilities as well as efficient, reliable service assistance (much appreciated); was extremely sell-suited to the mostly interior stay intended
On the 55-69th floors of the tallest building of Jinan. Good location and easy to find a taxi. The facilities were new and smart. The staff was nice. The restaurant had various food and drinks with good city view.
Love the location of the hotel. Very convenient for my colleagues and I to walk around. The staffs are amazing - really helpful and friendly. Foods are okay. Rooms quite big and comfortable.
The property was fine - decent location near the metro which was good and easily walkable to the city centre. Everything was clean and the food options were good, though open at weird hours
Location: next to the train station (a key point), comfortable bed, great breakfast, spacious room, helpful team, great amenities, within easy reach of all the main attractions in the city
