Great place to be! The cost of food and everything is noticeably cheaper compared to the major cities of china. High recommend it if you are a night owl, this city never sleeps and is great for grabbing a drink and late night meal. There are also alot of hidden gems up in the mountains.

Although large population, residents are provincial. Lacks the charm of other cities. Entry into downtown area nearly impossible. Traffic unbelievable. Only one entry into main area.
Left earlier than anticipated because of the nature of the city. Couldn't be bothered to see more.

Actually, before I go, I already k that Hunan cuisine is a heavy tasting food for a lot of ppl , especially for Cantonese, but I kinda loving spicy food , therefore, I wanna k what is the difference if I have the food in Changsha compared those what I had in Guangzhou, hmmm, after trying the food continuously for 3 days , I quit!!! too oily , spicy and salty. Besides the food, it’s a convenient middle city in china where developed fast in the past years , below experiences somehow make me the trip is more that I expected, 1 convenient transportation, even it’s spicy heavy food , but quite okay , 3 if u t interested in history, visit Yuelu Academy , u can learn a lot, 4 u can find quite a lot of street artist who sings an/ dances / raps in the evening on the street 5 there is an art museum open to all of the visitors for free where u can see a lot of oil paintings . If u r a vegetarian or a vegan , it’s a bit hard to find some vegetarian restaurant or I doubt if there is one, not so many variation for foreigners, I also think not so many of them can speak English even it’s kinda force to learn English..... For me , travel is to explore the culture, the scenery and customs, bla bla bla ....all in all, it is my experience for your reference

There's a lot of historical and cultural sights (Juzizhou and Hunan university were some of the places we visited). Local food is really good. Lots of entertainment around Pozi street. We visited Hunan museum for the Mawangdui exhibition: lots of beautiful artifacts were displayed and the explanations provided was entertaining and informative (although most of them were in Chinese only).
We arrived to early to check in the room, however the staff was very helpful, we could without cost have first a breakfast in there breakfast room. After we finished, they told us, that the room was ready to move in...(10:00am).
The staff was very helpful.
The Hotel is very new, beds very comfortable and the rooms big and quiet. The metro is 500meter away from the hotel and behind the hotel is a big park our daughter could enjoy the playground.
We will stay there again, we we travel to Changsha again.
Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The breakfast area has a wonderful view of the city from the 43rd floor. Breakfast offers fruits, cereal, bacon, sausages, eggs, fruits, etc., as well as Chinese dishes. You can also request a room on a higher floor. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall with a supermarket, 7-11, Starbucks, and several restaurants, and it's only a 10 to 15-minute taxi ride to the city center where you can find many of Changsha's famous tourist attractions.
This hotel is beautiful and has everything that one could desire. The room was large and clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure that everything went smoothly during the stay. In particular, Chen Qiu Feng (Amy) was invaluable in facilitating the reservation and payment, and in making the time at World Hotel Jiaxing Hunan (in Changsha) an amazing experience. She is a gem, as is the hotel.
The property is well-located, about 5 minutes from central sights like Wuyi Square and Taiping Old Street. The area around the hotel feels safe and lively: there are many restaurants, shops, malls in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is cheap, especially during the week. There is a nice, free coffee and tea area, which is very convenient. The room was comfortable, and A/C worked well.
First of all, the hotel in the center of the city which is good, the room were clean, the food was good, the staff were super friendly and helpful all of them, if I have to come again to Changsha I will choose this hotel without hesitate, special Thanks to Mr. Jack Ma 🙏🏻
Everything good .. nice hotel . the hotel in main city easy to move anywhere .. very convenient.. please choose this hotel anyone going to China Changsha , the price also very cheap include breakfast also. room is to big .
Wonderful modern hotel with good breakfast. Large bathroom and beds. Nice view of airport. 3min hotel shuttle to airport every half hour or very cheap (RMB 7-9) taxi if you can’t wait for the shuttle.
The hotel itself is jus AMAZING !! Good location, clean and modern. The Hotel and the room were the best ones I’ve stayed. The manager, Mr, Jack, super guy with great costumer service and attentions.
Clean room and friendly staffs!
Very thoughtful shuffle bus to the airport even though it is 5:30 in the morning and packed breakfast !!! I really liked the shampooing and shower gel.
Very nice hotel, nice rooms, nice pool and in a good location. Breakfast also very good. A bit complicated to find the reservation when checking in, but sorted out by the manager.
Stayed for the second time for the convenient location for a quick stopover from Changshanan train station. Is tolerable for one night and breakfast is convenient and decent.
Excellent throughout; comfortable room, quick and efficient checkin (with grateful thanks to English speaking staff, not a given in Changsha), and great spa facilities.
The staff and their prompt service.
The undying assistance I got from Cindy even before I got to Changsha
She was very helpful via phone even when she was not at work
Simple and cheap hostel, only a few stops from downtown Changsha. Really trendy bar next door, highly recommend visiting. Would stay again for a cheap stay.
