Situated in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, 7 to 8 minutes' walk from Dashuiche and Square Street, Jianshe Inn offers simple Japanese-style accommodation.

Room cleaness and the toilet is automatic toilet seat. The manager and staff were quite helpful, kind (we got extra drinking water every day of our stay), even the language was still a bit problem. This place is in the North side of the old town, which is more quiet than the South side. If you like a peaceful rest time in the night, this place may answer the question.

I have never experienced such thoughtful service before. The boss said their hotel offers one-on-one butler service. That's right, you will receive a warm reminder from the hotel a few days before check-in, and there is also a pick-up or train service available. All questions can be asked to the butler, who will be very enthusiastic in providing assistance. By the way, their hotel also has a translation machine that can translate languages from dozens of countries, and can basically communicate face-to-face without barriers. Satisfied!

Baisha Flamingo hotel is just 300 metres from the famous Baisha Mural. It has a sun terrace featuring views of the Yulong snow-capped mountains. Complimentary WiFi is available in all areas.

Amazing view of the snow mountain and a stone throw away from Baisha Ancient town. Owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

First of all, I am really grateful to the shop owner. The shop owner is super good and must be five-star. The hotel has good hygiene and a quiet environment. The sound insulation of the door is slightly poor, and adjusting the air conditioning and heating is a bit difficult. Thank you very much to the shop owner. The receptionist is really kind, and we need hot water. The receptionist will help us cook it; It's a bit late to go to Yulong Snow Mountain to play. Our luggage is stored at the front desk for safekeeping, and the rush time is very urgent. The front desk guy helped take us to the intersection and took a taxi all the way to pick it up. Thank you very much!

Lovely friendly little guesthouse. Free tea and coffee at any time and oranges too :) The host was so helpful and friendly , free breakfast was really good too . The beds are really comfortable.

    In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has...

    In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!! Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places. Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

    With covid over the crowds are back, did i mention the crowds? dont go its far too busy now Only Intercontinental gives a reminder of the former peace of Lijiang - this too only a reminder when you see the scrum for breakfast

    The staff were fantastic.

    The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship. We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent. We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

    It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque. The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.

    Lijiang is a wonderful town.

    Lijiang is a wonderful town. A great place to get a glimpse of China's past. The Local Naxi people are colourful and friendly. Beautiful sights all within walking distance of the Old Town. Highly recommended. Great Yunnan traditional food in the Old Town at "Yun Xue Li" (Yunnan Snow Lijiang) - 云南省丽江市古城区七一街兴文巷95号 A great vegetarian buffet (at only 18RMB per person) in the new town is Auspicious Vegetarian Restaurant Building 6, Jinkai Plaza Complex Building, Gucheng district. This is about 10 minutes walk from the North gate of the Old town.

    The Old Town is ok for a walk through, but it's really touristed. The original old town is still there, but it's not that will maintained. If you're going to higher altitude, use it as a stop over.

    The property is located just outside the gate for the old town, which is the perfect location! The staff was very friendly, especially George; he helped us with trips around Lijiang and booking things. He speaks English so he was very helpful! The breakfast was good: some Chinese buns, noodles, fried rice, and vegetables. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are comfortable with a lot of space. They upgraded us into a beautiful suite!! My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here!!

    The room is the same as in the picture, clean and tidy, and I really like the decoration style. The boss is very enthusiastic and helps us introduce interesting and delicious things in the surrounding area. The hotel has a high signal-to-price ratio and is close to the entrance and exit of the ancient city, so the evening is quiet and the rest is good. Overall, the experience is very good. I strongly recommend it and hope the boss can do better

    I spent 3 days and 2 nights in Lijiang, and staying at this hotel was the most comfortable for me during my trip to Yunnan. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable! The price is very affordable! The ancient city will arrive soon, and the prices of nearby small shops are also reasonable. The service is also particularly good, and the recommended one-day trip to the snow capped mountains has excellent quality and affordable prices.

    I enjoy everything 😊The room is new, quiet and clean with pickup service, fresh fruits and tea. The location is near Lijiang bus terminal as well as the ancient town. The host is very friendly and helpful. She can speak English so it’s easy to communicate. She helped answer any questions we had. I also highly recommend the tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Blue Moon Valley and the show Impression of Lijiang of this hotel.

    We just really loved the Bivou. I read very good reviews, but still the place exceeded my expecations. If I am ever going to write my memoires, I will do it here:) This place just breaths tranquility. We loved the little vegetable gardens in front of the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and the area around the hotel is really lovely. I travelled the whole world and Le Bivou definitely makes it to my worldwide top 5.

    The hotel is small but cute. The most impressed when i was lijiang was hosted reception of the staff. His name is john. He is elderly but takes care very well. He helped me with all my requests. If you can't speak Chinese, don't be shy. He speaks English extremely well. If everyone has to go to Lijiang, choose this hotel.

    The property is very cute, proper Chinese guest house in the middle of Lijiang old town. Despite the fact that was a very busy period of the year, Golden Week, the facility is located in a quite corner away from the crowd. Great is also the fact that it is close to the main market.

    The property is clean and the location is great. The hotel is inside the ancient city of Lujiang. The staff (DianDian) is super friendly and helped us book a taxi and also gave us good recommendations on where to eat and what to see. I would recommend this place to anyone!

    Our room was a top floor, balcony room with an amazing view of the mountains. We were upgraded to this room by the owner for free, which was very kind. The room was also very nice, and continently located to the old town.
