Quiet and safe city with a lot of cultural food, beautiful parks and some nice shopping centers with food courts. Not too touristy and a good middle size of the city. Comuna 14 tour, coffee visiting and tasting.

We drove from Bogota to Bucaramanga ... long drive but beautiful scenery. Loved travelling through the Chicamocha Canyon.
We also visited a nearby Coffee Plantation ... Mesa de los Santos ... the tour was excellent.

People are very friendly even toward themselves not jut toward tourists. Food is excellent. From local to international cuisine it was just delicious. Need to go to La Casona restaurant located in Giron a nearby town and have the best Cabrito (baked goat ribs in clay and wood oven). I believe they were superior to those prepared in Greece, Turkey and Italy.

Nothing much to see in the city, some churches and parks.
Nothing much to see in the city, some churches and parks. Most neighbourhoods are dangerous to walk around when it gets dark, some are dangerous even daytime. But its interesting to see these kind of places as well(always use a vehicle and close windows when you stop).
Not far from Bucaramanga there are some beautiful places like Chicamocha canyon, Barichara(small town). But you need to drive 2-3 hours.

Like many cities in Latin America the streets are narrow and crowded and I would not feel comfortable driving there but the taxi drivers handle it with ease.
The city views from rooftop restaurants was beautiful and I am sorry I didn't have more time to take tours.

There are many places to visit on the city surroundings.
My favorites: Parque Cerro del Santísimo, and if you can, "La Mesa de los Santos" and try to get a glamping reservation there. The place is outstanding.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The food in all the restaurants was wonderful. The Aqua Spa is an addition that you cannot afford to miss. The entire experience was incredible. As an American traveling I can say this is one of the best hotel/spas that I have ever seen. The cleanliness was absolutely amazing. And to me maybe the best part is the price of food, services, golf, spa, transportation. This experience would have cost me 5 times as much in the U.S.
Our stay in this family hotel consisted of two stretches of 4 days. Both stays were equally pleasant, with clean and spacious rooms that however will need some updating in the nearby future. An issue with the availability of an in-room safe was dealt with swift and professional, just like the attitude of the entire staff was swift and professional during our entire stay.
It took some time to reveal the mystery of the hot showers, but their presence was much appreciated and enjoyed.
I think the hotel nice; the front desk staff was friendly. The room was simple, clean but nice. The hotel on its own was clean and nice. For the price it's all good. The restaurant on top was nice and relatively good. BUT today they don't have beef, tomorrow they don't have shrimps every day there is something they don't have. :) The Shrimp Ceviche with mango sauce is good.....yes GOOD. too bad I tried it too late and when I wanted more, no more shrimps.
Breakfast! the best. Wouldn't expect that much for that price.
The cleaning was really tidy, with small details that go for that extra mile.
Also, the location is really good: the best/safest area of the city. Because there're a lot of dangerous/ugly parts on that city. However, if you move around by car, you shouldn't mind, but on this hotel surroundings you can take a long walk pretty safely.
I enjoyed the snack bar in the room, but I wish they had more of a selection for water. Such as Hatsu, which is a great brand for great quality water 👌
Although, I wished someone would have helped me with the bags as I was struggling as I walked in. The hotel Spiwak Chipichape in Cali. They immediately helped me with my bags to my room without any hesitation.
This place has so much love and effort put into it, it's so professional and functional. It was the best room we've had so far in Colombia. I would come back to Bucaramanga just to stay here.
The host is so kind and helpful, they're easily contactable via WhatsApp and they were clear with us despite the language barrier.
Being a first time trip to Colombia, I didn’t know where to stay. I was convinced to stay here once I read many outstanding reviews!!! From the moment I messaged Luz Mery on the Booking.com messenger, I knew I picked the right place to stay! Casa Mendoza Hotel Boutique is a 1 stop shop and has a wonderful location!
Everything was great the rooms, breakfast, the staff. They have a rooftop bar and restaurant that was excellent. And the best part is you can take the elevator from your room straight to the mall. Yes the hotel is built inside the mall and you have your own private access from the hotel into the mall great place
Quiet classic hotel for travelers : large room, a bit old fashioned furniture.
But it is a very good option to stay in Bucaramanga for 2 main reasons : first, the heated pool at rooftop is an incredible pleasure to relax. It couldn't be better. Second, there are many good restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel is very well located in the city, inside there is a very relaxed energy with a nice roof terrace to relax. The breakfast was also very nice. I would definitely come back here. Felipe thank you for being the best host ever!
Breakfast was great. The location is one of the best for staying in Bucaramanga and the upper floors have an amazing view of the city and are a great place to spend time and have a meal and some drinks.
The service by the manager is outstanding. The hotel central location just by Puerta de sol makes it easy to reach. The parking arrangement suited our needs
The room and the staff were amazing! They helped us out quickly when we called them on the cellphone provided. A perfect example for any hotel out there!!!
