San Andres has the third coral reef in the world, just that is enough for you to enjoy the trip if you like snorkling or scuba diving. One tour is the one in the pontom were they take you out to different islands and you can go down and explore more the ocean. It is a paradise the color of the water is something out of this world so relaxing. They are excellents restaurants to enjoy and choose from. Even if you like shopping there is a variety of stores.

Beautiful Island, love the sand and clear water.
I spend my time at the beach.
Also going to the aquarium and see the different fish and the beauty of the under sea was my favorite adventure.
Next time I will stay longer to go around the island.
The apartment #402 at Bay Point Punta Hansa was fantastic, beautiful, love the place and the area. specially the view from the Balcony.

Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing.
Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing. Just be aware of the night tours, they offer a party show in a cruise and this is a very bad experience and expensive for tourists. The drinks served in the ship are bad quality and a lot of people were sick afterwards. There is no show or animator, its just a way to rip off tourists

Moving from Hotel San Luis Place to a different hotel was my best decision. My second hotel La Reina del Mar was located on a lovely palm tree lined sandy beach. The beach was cleaned daily and had access to a bar and restaurant staffed by extremely polite and friendly staff.

Loved the water. The tours were great.
Loved the water. The tours were great. There is placed call white water and i love it. What i dislike of San Andrés is that some places were so dirty. Buildings need to be repair. Shops should sell clothes for people of plus size and should be more accesible for handicapped. I will definitely come back to San Andrés because of the beautiful water and the beautiful people. I was impressed how people in the island speaks several languages
Our first time in San Andrés- I think this was a good choice of place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for our needs; directly on the beach and facing East to view the sunrise each morning. There were always a few boats anchored on the beach and the hotel staff very easily arranged transport for us to the acuario as needed. Breakfast was perfect and the hotel is clean. Wifi worked great. Another highlight of our trip was catching the bus in front of the hotel for a trip downtown each evening for dinner and shopping.
Amazing hosts! Helped with everything I needed and even more. Very friendly and nice people, helped me to book my tours on the island, helped me with transportation and renting a bike, and took care of me when I felt bad - the best overall experience of staying in a hotel in my life. The hotel is cozy, well located close to the city but further from the major noise, amazing view. The kitchen is simple but useful if you want to cook yourself. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom.
Massimiliano and his Wife are amazing hosts.
The Posada is perfectly located in the center of San Andres, also the airport is only 5/10minutes away.
Lots of nice plants and flowers at the entrance, it is also a safe place and you can certainly get a good sleep after a long day under the sun.
I suggest you ask Massimiliano to organise daily visits to the nearby islands; you can also rent a scooter from them to see the island all around.
Thanks for the hospitality.
The hotel is in a very good region from San Andres and close to many places. The hotel itself is nice, the pool is amazing and it has a small private beach.
However that rooms do not have hot water (it should be informed in the website before the reservation!). I stayed 5 days at the hotel and all of them I had to take cold shower at my room (beach view, one of the best suites…). And the staff don’t speak English.
Perfect place for couple and families. Room has compfy beds with AC.Very clean. You can use kitchen. Nice backyard you can rest in hammock after beach or trips on islands. My room had balcony where I enjoyed breakfast. Very Easy to get to beach 15min walk or I used moto taxi. Closeby is rental bike lady Iris offer also trips to island in good price. However aiport is 15min walk from hostel any noise not boder us.
- the location is really good. not even a 5 min walk to the closest beach. busstation to explore the island is right outside the door and also a supermarket is right next to the accommodation
- you can borrow snorkeling gear and swimming shoes
- you can leave your luggage at the property after checking-out
- good explaining at check in on what to do on the island
- it's not a party hostel
Cano (the owner) is extremely nice and helpful. The area was very safe and close to stores. The place was clean and Cano is very well known on the island ! I highly recommend this place to any english speak american or spanish speaking Colombian as his english amd spanish is excellent and impressive honestly.
The room was remodeled,Good wifi, nice breakfast, complementary coffee and water, the hotel is in the outskirts of the center 2 blocks from the beach, this was my 3 hotel I stayed at on this trip to San Andres and was the nicest, stayed at wh hotel and apartahotels tropical 3 prior.
My stay at El Viajero was great! The room was comfy, but the best part was the staff there! Always ready to help, and with a great and positive attitude! Specially Adria and Xime! Thanks for always answering all my questions!
The place was wonderful. Made you feel in ypur own vacation island home.
Breakfast was exceptional.
Had tge pleasure to meet the owners. Very welcoming and friendly. Rooms where as pictured. Nothing bad to say on this stay.
The location is perfect, closer to downtown San Andres, there are a lot of good restaurants and a very beautiful beach in a walking distance. The hotel is new, have a nice pool, good breakfast and comfortable rooms.
San Andres overall does not have the highest quality of hotels, you must understand this. However, relative to San Andres sea colors, is an excellent hotel, with good value of money and great staff.
perfect location one of the nicest parts of the island.
The property is right on the beach on the sand you walk out and you are already swimming.
Really great value for money.
Right on the beach! Great restaurant next door. Casual and relaxing in the beat part of the island. We had such a great stay and Antonio was kind, helpful ad friendly.
Very good place to stay, can rent a bike on site, not hard to find food nearby, within walking distance of everything on the north side of the island. Very kind staff
Nice hotel in San Andres, it is modern and well equipped compared to the rest of the island. The rooms are super big with nice airco. Close to supermarket and beaches
