Nice, big rooms. Very well equipped with kitchen essentials, and kitchen appliances. Received a room with accessibility elements: excellent to see the property is aiming for accessibility compliance. Booking, information and attention to requests, as always, was excellent.

Pretty beach...and waves ...I would have preferred calmer sea. The jet skis come in too close to the shore and are hardly ecological.
The fish restaurant on the beach is really good.. lovely staff and very fresh food at reasonable prices

The beach was a little disappointing.
The beach was a little disappointing. The access to the beach was piled with trash bags and recycling that needed collected. The concrete tables were in disrepair. Old tire laying on one of the broken benches.
The dinner and show at Villa del Sueno was great!

Really loved this calm, friendly beach.
Really loved this calm, friendly beach. The water was calm for swimming and lovely to look at. There are four nice open air restaurants facing it, we liked all of them, although Aqua Sport played very loud music at times, when the sound of waves and birds would have been much nicer.

Hosts were more than gracious, we had a small issue with the water heater and it was taken care of at our check out.
Very nice and available people. Gave us some great advice on restaurants and places to go. Would stay there again.

Playa Hermosa is a wonderful, small area with a fantastic, calm, sandy beach and a front row seat for the beautiful sunsets. We stayed here for our last night in Costa Rica since it's only a short drive to the Liberia airport. I would suggest spending 1 or 2 nights here at the start or end of your vacation. It's a nice alternative to staying at the airport hotel and it's very easy and quick to get to the airport by rental care or transfer (25-35 minutes depending on traffic). Just make sure that you chose the correct Playa Hermosa, there is more than one in Costa Rica!

The beach surroundings looked a little burnt out, very dry, not as lush and green as compared to the beaches down by Manuel Antonio or Uvita, Costa Rica. Please note that we did visit here during the dry season.
An overnight stay after an evening arrival flight to Liberia airport. Hotel is conveniently located on the beach about 30 minutes’ drive from the airport. Hotel was quiet with only a few guests. Plenty of secured convenient parking. Very comfortable, clean and well-appointed quiet room with separate sitting area, outdoor patio with large bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful, regional foods, served in the quiet exterior dining courtyard poolside. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and very helpful.
This super kool lil place is walking distance to the beach where there are several nice restaurants with awesome food..their pool is beautiful & all rooms have balconies facing it..your breakfast of several options is made when you order.after a couple days & speaking to both locals & extended stay tourists, I could walk myself because it is that SAFE..in that time also some of the locals & I were on first name basis!! Playa Hermosa is quiet, clean, & friendly..Im going to plan longer stays for sure.
Lots of space in the 2 bedroom apartment for the 3 of us - my husband, sister and myself. Very clean with nice bathroom with a great shower.15 minute walk to 2 areas of Playa Hermosa beach. Great balcony with a forest across a busy road so saw many birds there. Very good air-conditioning which made the apartment very comfortable as it was hot while we were there- 32-36C during the day.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good supermarket underneath.
The location is great, just a very short walk to the beach on the main road in town. Parking is secure. The pool is very nicely kept as are the hotel grounds. The town is very quiet, except for the howler monkeys - so many to see! Not many restaurants in town, but the ones we did try were great. Nice, quiet beach. If you want more a more lively town and things to do (especially at night), I would recommend staying at Coco beach and not Hermosa.
The views & Playa Hermosa Beach were spectacular. The Asian, Seafood & Italian Restaurants were very good.
Ronald, Fernanda, Cesar & Edward were outstanding staff for hospitality.
The pools were lovely. Enjoyed the popcorn/Churro truck & ice cream kiosk. The shuttle buses were convenient. The fire show is a must see! The A/C worked well & the shower had excellent pressure. There was a power outage for a short time.
- The view is spectacular, if you're looking for a place to see the ocean, this is it
- It's really close to the beach, and they even have internal transportation if you don't want to walk
- The food is really good, they don't have a huge variety, but it is good enough
- Go for the all inclusive, otherwise you're going to lose money, everything is expensive
The location of the property was excellent, especially with beautiful views of the Sunset each evening, walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean.
The hill was a little challenging at times, but we got used to taking the shuttle on a regular basis, or walking up the hill for a bit of a workout.
Very well maintained property, friendly and helpful staff, quick access to the beach via shuttle (special thanks from the 2.5 year old traveller). The beach (Playa Hermosa) is picturesque and clean, all the facilities are right there.
Overall a great choice for a family vacation.
Good location, nice pool area, lunch/dinner buffet was very delicious. Supermarket and local pizza spot right next door. Beach 5min away. Despite my many critiques, I guess it does have a good value cause it's the cheapest option I found in the area.
The staff at the hotel were wonderful. Everyone went the extra mile to assure that we truly enjoyed our visit. Restaurant was excellent- with wonderful local cuisine. We would certainly recommend the Bosque for a wonderful beach hotel experience.
The hosts are amazing...kind and generous. Had breakfast basic in the fridge on arrival and was gifted a lovely lasagna dinner in the middle of the week. Joanie even brought me into Playa del Coco one day.
Very nice, well appointed boutique hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet. The gardens and pool were lovely. The good was excellent and the staff had exceptional customer service.
The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent! The pool was great to come back and cool off in after a hot day on the beach.
