It was quiet and private, surrounded by nature, close to a beautiful (nearly empty and very clean) beach. Waleska is a very friendly and helpful host and provided everything we needed. We found a scarlet macaw nest in a tree on a neighboring property which was very fun to see! Waleska’s guard (Joaquin) took us for a night walk one evening to see local wildlife. We liked the outdoor kitchen and dining area, and the fans on both levels of the cabina kept it comfortable for sleeping. The grounds were beautifully kept with many tropical plants and trees. Breakfast is available on request. We mainly cooked our meals (supplied from Puerto Jiminez grocery stores) and there are two nearby lodges with restaurants.

The cabin was lovely as was the property. Loved the colors and design and all the beautiful flowers, plants and trees. Breakfast was great. Playa Preciosa is a beautiful beach but wasn't great for swimming. Also the location is 20 minutes from town which was fine for us as we had a car. Definitely recommend this place. Does require cash at the property, no credit or debit c ards

We have booked the tent, because we wanted to see the ozean. The tent was superclean, very comortable, with a little terrace in front. The private bathroom was around 50 meter away, which is a bit uncomfortable if you have to go to the toilet. The place is beautiful, waleska is providing an exceptional breakfast - superdelicious, made with love! Thank you waleska. The place is far away from everything, this is what we like! It has a beautiful beach and it is very peacful!

The location beside the beach was good and the facilities within the chalet were good. The kitchenette was well equipped. The owner was very helpful with any questions. Good birdlife around the property including large numbers of scarlet macaws.

Great place to stay to stay with kind and helpful host. The location is right by a great beach and we saw plenty of wildlife here including ant eater by beach. The hut was great and good size with outdoor kitchen. Highly recommend.

Amazing location, you walk directly onto the (practically deserted) beach. Finally a spot where you can actually find full coconuts at the palmtrees, normally they all have been "harvested" by locals. Awesome beach with warm ocean water, plenty of spots to stay in the shade. The house is very cozy, round shaped. Nice outdoor kitchen that we actually used. Friendly owner.

Waleska is a very friendly hostess, which is very helpful and ready to listen is you have questions. She helped us to book a tour at the Corcovado National Park and it was kind of her. We loved the authenticity of the place and the nature around. The accommodation was pleasant. We would definitly come back!

The location is amazing, it’s deep into nature. Waleska is helpful and have some good tips. She can book for you activities which is pretty cool. Also you will meet Luna, her adorable dog :) If you go to visit the Corcovado, try to reach for Ania, she is a great tour guide !

This place is just a gem. Away from all way too touristy places in Costa Rica, this place has it all: intimacy, beautiful beach with no tourists, a host that knows hospitality, all type of animals (aras, toucans, iguana’s, howl monkeys, you name it), amazing sunrise and a great local breakfast. I recommend 200%.

This is good accommodation in an excellent location for superb beaches. The owner speaks good English and was very helpful. The wifi is available in the accommodation and is a good standard, being very fast. If you don't want to drive to eat there are good cooking facilities in the accommodation kitchen or a couple of lodges within walking distance have very good meals.
