The hosts Gilly and Pierre were terrific providing thoughtful treats in the kitchen as well as a wealth of information about the area. The pool and patio were an oasis from the heat while also providing a wildlife viewing platform for monkeys, sloths, birds and butterflies. Just a perfect place to relax and re-energize at the midpoint of our trip.

the town was small but with many services available- 3 grocery stores, souvenir shops, surf board rentals, hostels and hotels, restaurants, etc. It is right on the coast. the is very rocky during the high tide but during the low tide, when you can see the rocks, it is nice to walk around them into the sandy bottom ocean.
