Very nice place. I would go again. I stayed there in a private room with a friend who was visiting me in Costa Rica. Excellent location, nice shared kitchen, very nice areas to hang out, friendly staff. Overall I strongly recommend it for those on a low budget.

We stayed here one night in the twin room, which by coincidence was super ideal for us, as I was battling some food poisoning at the time and so having separate beds was great. The beds were comfortable enough and the pillows are a little thin, but the giant fan we could blast in our room really helped lull us to sleep and keep us cool. Very beautiful central common area to take coffee in the morning and EXCEPTIONALLY kind and helpful staff. Not a luxury resort by any stretch of the imagination, but a wonderful value-for-money, central, comfortable stay in the always wonderful town of Cahuita.

This is a very nice hostel in the middle of town, close to restaurants and the National Park. the staff is kind, attentive, and helpful with questions about transportation and what not. the bunks have privacy curtains. there are large lockers. free coffee all day. the reviews about hot showers are not correct. like most of Central America, the showers are cold, but that did not bother me. the rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily. the kitchen has individual shelves for each persons food, and a marker to label your stuff in the fridge. the beds are firm but comfortable. there is a/c in the dorms, as well as a fan for each bed. I highly recommend!

Very calm and affordable place to stay in cahuita centre. Breakfast was good, coffee available all day, well equipped kitchen and a very peaceful environment to be in nature. Cahuita national park is around the block so great location. Bathroom were the most cleanest I've ever seen in a hostel

Perfect accommodations for travelers with regular cleaning and thoughtful considerations! They had pretty much everything I look for in a hostel plus going the extra mile! You will find the lockers big enough for storing large backpacks and suitcases, personal fan and light at each dorm bunk, soap in the bathrooms, many appliances in the kitchen such as a rice cooker, toaster, panini press etc. The common area is very peaceful and there are many hammocks and nice places to sit outside. The dorms have shared air conditioning which worked really well during my stay. The free coffee was a huge bonus for me, as a morning coffee is typically an added expense for me. The staff were extremely welcoming and diligent, cleaning the kitchen area often.
