Spectacular views and friendly staff
The villas were large and spacious
Food in the restaurant and breakfast was fantastic and reasonably priced
The receptionist could not have been more friendly and helpful and she booked all of our excursions for us.
The animal sanctuary next door is well worth a visit and is a great charity to support.

Although I loved Pacific Edge Eco Lodge and would definitely return, I found the little town of Dominical a bit off-putting. Seemed to be filled with aging gringos with no particular layout or planning. The beach was gorgeous though.
Also, we visited Naucaya Waterfall, several miles from Dominical which was fabulous.

Beautiful laid-back area with lots of things to do within an easy drive. Great beach area and a charming little town with lots of great places to shop and dine. We especially loved waffle fries at Fuego Brewing Company (and the cute treetop vibe), tacos at Hotel Rio Del Lindo, and homemade empanadas at Mama Toucans Natural Foods Store.

Dominical is like Ubud or Goa in the 90s- a chilled yoga/surf town. Hippie yoga pants and hammocks are on sale in the shops; Mama toucans sells pretty much everything from vegan food, chocolate and cosmetics. The food here is phenomenal: Phat noodle is excellent, Fuego brews its own beer from passion fruit to a blonde lager and has an excellent menu, the Pescado loco is a small menu but omg the fish taco was sublime. The restaurants are laid back but are really world class food stops. Very close to nauyaca waterfall, the reptile Centre, Alturas and Uvita & whale tail. But the best part is the excellent yoga on offer at Danyasa, which has the most beautiful yoga shala I have ever been in. Rockstar yoga is also great- fab teachers & a lovely space. I loved this place. Super friendly - feels v safe for a female traveler. Quite a few long term residents & off-griders here

If you love surfing, quiet beach town vibes.
If you love surfing, quiet beach town vibes. This is your place. We surfed every day. It’s beautiful. Some great restaurants around too like the Thai place. We did yoga in the yoga place up the road too. And there’s an organic market ‘mama toucan’ where we got some yummmy food as I’m Gluten Free and dairy free and there was lots of options for me

We loved the beach and there were lots of places to get a variety of food and drink. We loved the pineapple juice from the beach bar and also the milk shakes and frappe from the ice cream place just as you turn into Dominical from the main road. There was a lovely walk along the river road too.
Excellent location close to town but not to close to busy parts. Car parking provided. Accommodation behind security gate. Lovely pets on site to have a pat with. Friendly staff gave loads of recommendations. Dominical is a good base with lots of restaurants and tasty cafe opposite. Couple of mins from beach with excellent sunsets. Room was as expected, clean and good bathroom. It was hot and humid so had to have fan on a lot - would probably upgrade to air con where possible in dry season.
Location is great, just on the beach. You can walk to the main Dominical street on foot with no issues.
The room was clean and beautiful.
Bed is comfy.
The staff left us a little surprise for our honeymoon which we enjoyed.
They also helped us book a tour for Nuayaca Falls and tried to help us find a beach to swim in (though this is difficult in that area as the waves are very big).
You can take chairs and towels for the beach from the hotel.
Breakfast was pretty good.
Absolutely loved this place. You can easily (10 + min) walk to the Dominical beach and vibrant 'town center', allthough it feels very remote/secluded. Great room, good beds and kitchen. Very welcoming host. We visited on our way to Corcovado, it's perfect for a two-night (or longer) stopover to enjoy the nearby beaches. Nice restaurants and bars nearby. You can walk up the river and spot some wildlife as well.
The Hotel is located a bit outside from the small center of Dominical, but there's enough to do, swimming in the 2 pools, playing tennis or minigolf for free, so you don't get bored. The breakfast is very nice with different types of local food. The apartments are a bit older but still very comfortable and clean. There's a kitchen inside and a small veranda outside.
The location of the hotel is great and you feel right at home thanks to the very kind owners!
The room is nice and clean. Also the general vibe is very relaxed.
At first the hot water in the shower didn't work but the owner fixed it immediately - so great service.
Close to the beach - the most beautiful sunsets of Costa Rica.
I enjoyed the pools, the houses were nicely spread out, breakfast was good (not amazing), personnel was friendly . It was a good deal for the money and a beautiful location, even though a really bumpy road lead to the hotel itself. I enjoyed Dominical and it’s little shops and restaurants. Pool is nicely lit at night.
Loved this place! Quiet, beautiful, safe and clean place! Super close walk to the beach, easy walk to town, incredible and extremely helpful customer service! I knew I picked the right place when I arrived and saw no tv! We will be back and will tell everyone we know!
The views and the pools were great! our hosts were fantastic- responding even when recovering from surgery. beautiful location; close to Dominical; easy access to great beaches, boogie boarding, etc. nice to have A/c for upstairs rooms when it was hot.
our second time in this hotel! still a really nice place. it is very well located, just a few minutes walk to the beach and to a great surf spot. the included breakfast was really good!
the pool area is absolutely stunning!
The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed help ordering taxis. The pool area is lovely. We didn't go in as only stayed one night, but looked very nice. Location is great, short walk to beach and bars/restaurants.
Great location with off street parking. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.
The room is comfortable with nice amenities. The on-site restaurant has good food and drinks. Everyone is super nice.
Cool vibes is exactly that . Great location close to the beach ,nice pool , nice clean private rooms ,amazing staff especially Maria who is a beautiful soul. Can't wait to come back !
Quite good location at walking distance from both the beach and the restaurants, nice swimming pool, good breakfast and friendly staff. AC in the room and parking spot on the property.
older hotel with 8-10 rooms overlooking a pool and bar-restaurant. Good location in Dominical. Rooms are good size. Beds are older, not super comfortable. Bring bug spray.
Fantastic hostel, huge and well equipped kitchen, common areas are huge, the pool is small but refreshing! It's only 50 meters from the beach.
Staff was very helpful.
