It’s a quiet and relaxing area to visit.

It’s a quiet and relaxing area to visit. It’s very hot and very sunny and there’s not much shade on the beach. Be prepared to go through the sunscreen. The beach is clean, the sand is soft and white and the ocean is a spectacularly blue. The surf can be quite rough and it can be difficult to swim, so use caution.

    The beach was beautiful.

The beach was beautiful. There weren't many seashells so this isn't a place for shelling, but they won't be crashing into shore and cutting up your feet either. Our kids played in the water for hours. The sunsets were amazing.

This is a beautiful facility with unbelievable views of the coastline! Close to many good restaurants and beaches. We had a rental car, but could have used the shuttle service more or rented a golf cart.

Idyllic white sand beach with turquoise water, perfect for swimming and boogie boarding. Sunsets are incredible! Coco Locos on the beach has the most delicious hot lava cooked tenderloin that can be ordered as a part of the surf and turf or without the lobster (but avoid eating here when a heavy rain due to sewer smell). Stay in luxury at The Palms Villas for top-notch service and beachfront perfection—well worth the price! Check out Monday Moonlight Market in Flamingo.

Playa Flamingo is a friendly and easy going area with good food options, a beautiful beach and amazing views. It is not too buzzy with tourist attractions which we very much liked about the area. The new marina area is very nice. There are a number of lovely shops, a new restaurant not quite opened and a bank. There are a couple of upscale hotels going up next to the marina. I hope the area can maintain it's small town charm which we found to be perfect for our vacation spot. We opted not to rent a car or golf cart (which is popular) and found the small town to be totally walkable and from town it is just a short walk to the beach. The fine sandy beach is gorgeous and not crowded and the water is amazing with just enough surf to enjoy but still be able to swim comfortably. All in all Playa Flamingo is a lovely, relatively quiet beach area that we highly recommend!

Abigail and her team were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them, they organised yoga, drivers and covid tests for us and had exceptional communication skills and responsiveness. The apartment was very nice, the pool is lovely and the property views are stunning, even better than they appear on the website. Playa Flamingo is a lovely beach not crowded and touristy like Playa Tamarindo. There were plenty of options within walking distance (or very short cab/ golf cart ride) for meals/ drinks.

Very nice furniture and appliances. Very cool inside, has 4 fans and 3 aircons so it is easy to have very comfortable temperature inside. Good beach, enough shadow, there is a cliff in the end which you can walk on during low tide. Beach is public but there are no random people there. Nice marina nearby, few restaurant options in 5 minutes walk distance. 2 casinos 10 minutes walk away. Parking is not private, but there are very safe parking lots right in front of maritime police building.

Room was quite large & roomy; the view from the room was just of the small pool, but since we only stayed one night, it was OK. The pool was great, with swim up bar. The breakfast was plentiful; we sat outside with view of the beach. We walked to the beach afterwards, but the waves were quite big and not very inviting, so we didn't swim there. But, the view of the beach, waves was wonderful. Too bad we couldn't stay longer.

Absolutely GORGEOUS hotel directly on the beach. Incredible views at the top floor pool and beach (westward facing) for sunset watching. Incredibly romantic hotel situated in an European-style looking resort town. You’ll see all sorts of wildlife, iguanas, diverse amounts of birds, monkeys and more. The food on site is delicious and the staff are truly so so kind and friendly. 10/10 recommend!!!

Beautifully landscaped hotel close to Flamingo Beach. Enjoyed and appreciated the breakfast that included fresh fruit plate, toast and scrambled eggs with rice and beans. We utilized the table and chairs on the patio outside our door several times during our stay. Beds are comfortable and appreciated the hot shower.

Good location as the beach was outside the hotel. Clean room. Friendly staff. Good sized pool with swim up bar. Raccoons at night were good fun to watch. Food was ok, very American and probably great if you like that sort of thing. A la carte you had to book which was just passable as Italian food.

this place is a 4 room hotel with an additional house for rent. It was close to everything in the small town and the people, Susan, Juardo, and Noemi were fantastic. There is a troop of howler monkies that occasionally stop by for a visit. all in a great little place for a few days
