Our family really enjoyed our stay at Villa Jacquelina and would definitely stay there again. We had room with three beds and a private bathroom that worked our very well for our family of 4. The room was very clean.
We really loved the outdoor terrace area near the common kitchen (the breakfast was the best out of 5 hotels that we stayed at in Costa Rica) and found everyone to be super hospitable. The pool was cute and our favorite part was the breath breath work and yoga classes that took place on the terrace.

The location and how the camp blends with it are quite unique and fantastic. I believe I saw the best sunset of my life in here. Miguel and Pili are also very good. Miguel also taught me to surf! It's also very cool that everything is autosuficient.

Quepos is a good central location from which to do all manner of activities. I love the farmers market on Friday PM/Saturday AM. Scuba diving is just okay as the visibility even in the dry season is limited. Check out the farm tour at Villa Vanilla (they can pick up from Quepos if you don't have a car) and the bus to Manuel Antonio Park (worth the hype but buy your tickets online before you go) and all the attractions along the way is only 380 colones.

Quepos is a tourist trap, all designed around Manuel Antonio national park. The hard sell is tough bbbuuutt the beauty of the rainforest is amazing. A weekend in this tiny place is easily enough, I would not recommend staying longer.

We stayed outside of Quepos which I would recommend.
We stayed outside of Quepos which I would recommend. Quepos is an authentic town to shop and eat at. We loved walking around to explore and eat. We liked the market for the shopping and the coffee shop! We were able to walk around Quepos very easily and get back to the bus downtown no problem.

The city is not big, quite busy, there are a few restaurants (some crazy expensive) and shops. Manuel Antonio Park, on the other hand, is completely overrated. I haven't seen such a crowded place in all of Costa Rica! I am disappointed and angry that I had to travel such a long way to get to an uninteresting place. I do not recommend!

The last point of our trip.
The last point of our trip. So many great things we have seen. But at the end of this incredible nature, do you have to experience this greed for money along the road to the national park? No! Just keep stopping in this country and be amazed. Quepos is not a MUST.

Quepos is super crowded and to pricy for what it offers!
Quepos is super crowded and to pricy for what it offers! If you want to find some nice place nearby Quepos just have a short ride with a car and go south of Quepos to find some nice and lonely beaches!
Sueno Tranquil is a small motel-style hotel, with a line of rooms facing onto a small parking area, and the pool beyond it behind a wall. The pool was very small, but pleasant and open until quite late at night (a rarity in Costa Rica). The room was clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning. It's only 5 minutes' walk from the seafront in the centre of Quepos and is directly opposite a reasonably priced fish restaurant.
Arboleda is a delightful "old lady of an hotel ... slightly dated, very well priced and the location is fantastic! Beautiful beach front on the quiet side of the beach with loungers and walking distance to the Manuel Antonio National Park. We enjoyed the hospitality of the family run establishment and the charm of yesteryear ! They also make a great Pina Colada!!
Everything was amazing from the wonderful woman that greeted us, the nice gentleman that showed us how to work the A/C, the waiter for dinner and the amazing am staff that was cheerful and bright for breakfast. If ever in the area would definitely stay again. We did not allow enough time to experience the trails from the hotel but the pool was relaxing.
We loved the location! Close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio Beach/Park. There was an amazing restaurant a few steps from the condo. We were 1/2 block from the buses going in each direction which was so convenient. The pool area was so cute and the people there were all nice. The grounds were very well maintained! We loved our stay!
What a beautiful lodge with the most amazing people. If you are staying anywhere near Quepos you HAVE to stay here. We were planning on staying two nights and immediately extended our stay to three nights. If you happen to have binoculars…bring them. Peaceful beauty with the best hosts in the world.
THE beach hotel in the Manuel Antonio area. Special sunbeams and umbrellas dedicated to the hotel guests only (and free). Truly enjoyed the beach life.
Rooms and open-air restaurant with direct access to the beach.
Lots of animals on the beach, hence no need to go to the national park ;)
Amazing host and a great location close to the centre of Quepos. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive and will answer all your questions with recommendations on things to do and how to visit Manuel Antonio. The boardwalk and marina are only 2 minutes away by foot.
Central location at quepos, 2 block from bus station that
Goes to Manuel antonio and other cities as San Jose. It s a little apartment, it has a kitchen, laundry, free coffe and a cafeteria. But you should know its on the first floor, so , stairs.
Comfortable, spacious and good air con. Wonderful to have laundry after hiking Camino de Costa Rica for 14 days. Met the owners’ son who manages the property and he was very receptive to our feedback. Highly recommend. good value
Really nice little place in the center of quepos, super clean and really nice big kitchen area. The pool is great and the whole hostel has a good vibe! The staff were also really helpful when we had questions and requests!
Great place to just sit back relax and enjoy the nature all around you. Miguel is an amazing guy who can tell you about many things of Costa Rica! Give this a try if you'd like to disconnect from the world
Super nice hotel, with great rooms and friendly staff. The hotel has a beachfront, a restaurant with good vegan options and it’s walking distance to Manuel Antonio (10 mins tops). Definitely recommended!
The apartment was immaculate. It was located in the residential part of Quepos within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Manuel Antonio National Park was a short drive away.
It's the best place where I have stayed in Costa Rica. Everything was perfect, I really recommend it! The owners are very nice and helpful. Thats the place run with heart.
Beautiful Area
Kind staff
It’s more a Resort than a Hotel
The rooms are big, modern and clean also the Gardens outside. Breakfast was good and fast (small Buffet)
Very nice apartment in a Costa Rican neighbourhood, off the beaten track. Well equipped kitchen, clean house and air-conditioner, comfortable sofa and armchairs
