We loved the breakfasts! Something different prepared every day, they bring in chefs, everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. A very intimate setting too, great for chatting to other guests and the host, Jenna, who was enthusiastic and attentive. Loved the hammock chairs, beautifully placed for watching the sunset. Room was very clean and was kept very clean during our stay. Only about a 15 min stroll into town (I think quite a few reviews put this as a downside but it’s an easy walk), quiet location.

Jenna and Drew moved to Costa Rica from the US to find a slower pace of life and most importantly to spend more time with their two children.

Property information

Villas Tangerine is off the beaten path yet close to everything Samara has to offer. Located in the area of Buena Vista we are a short 10 minute walk to 3 beaches, Cangrejal, Playa Izquierda, and Playa Buena Vista. With the best of both worlds, Villas Tangerine is surrounded by beauty. Jungle to one side and beautiful pastures to the other. Enjoy your mornings with a cup of Costa Rican coffee, your evenings with a glass of wine observing the howler monkeys pass, gaze at the farm animals in the pastures, or float effortlessly in one of our hammocks that overlook the lush gardens. Delicious complementary breakfast Bike rentals and golf carts are super great to have in Samara! If you have any questions about rental company's let us know. Shuttles- We are happy to arrange a shuttle from the airport to the Villa. Please let us know if you'd like assistance.

Neighbourhood information

On the sunny Pacific coast of Costa Rica, the town of Playa Samara has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Excellent swimming, kayaking, surfing, snorkeling and fishing abound in the warm waters. The town itself has everything you could ask for - shopping, restaurants, markets selling the abundant vegetables and fruit, stands selling fresh seafood, pharmacies, medical, banks and a supermarket. At one end of the town is a peaceful area of the beach called Cangrejal. This secluded spot is one of several beaches within walking distance of Villas Tangerine.
