Perhaps the most beautiful city in Cyprus, with a long beach promenade, many and varied restaurants and taverns, everything is in one place in the center and within walking distance, there is public transport from the airport to the city center and back. An ideal place for both a city break and a summer vacation. Larnaca is a working town rather than an out and out tourist resort, although it has all the facilities that tourists need. This means that it is good for out of season visits. It has a great, well planned seafront and nice sandy beaches. The international airport is very close to the centre and is well served by public transport.

With its international airport the city is a good starting...
With its international airport the city is a good starting point for either sightseeing or beach leisure for the entire island. If you rent a car you could visit all the archeological sites that are very interesting or find nice beaches to the west (140-150 km) or to the east (50-60 km). The capital Nicosia is also close at about 45 to the north) and the old town is worth visiting. We found some nice restaurants in Larnaka and generally enjoyed our stay.

Great choice if you want to spend time at the beach and as well in the city. There are many wonderful restaurants, bars, bistros and fast foods as well. In some little shops you can buy what you need. The prices were in March and April tolerable. We were only in the city, from/to the airport we used taxi from Booking Taxi and it was OK.

The beach in front of Hotel is very nice and comfort. The room was with a Seaview, and every morning we watched the sunrise, when drinking the coffee at the balcony. (Also, it is possible to see the airplanes, landing to Larnaca Airport. ) Very important, that the air condition blows not upon the bed, but to the table. The breakfast is nice and tasty, nobody went hungry. Thanks to the receptionists and to the maids . I enjoyed being there. Thank you very much!

Management of Haig & Monique remain customer orientated and exceedingly helpful people.. which makes staying here enjoyable. This is our 2nd stay here and we have no hesitation in recommending this place for tourists to stay when in Larnaca.
