Prague is a beautiful city with hundreds of great spots to find or stumble upon with majority of them being FREE this meant it didn't cost as much as other holidays away. I would recommend 3 days away maximum 4 as you can probably rush through the city in 2 days and miss lots on the way but as we stayed 4 days we found 3 days exploring the city at a nice pace was just right. On our second day we we to prague zoo and I honestly am amazed by how good this zoo was if your a lover of birds they have more than enough selection same goes for their large cats. Unfortunately a few of their enclosure were under maintenance but we got to see everything else in a day. I would say set aside a full day as we were in there for 6 and a half hours and that got us to see everything but we still had to rush the end. Anyway prague is a beautiful city just make sure you've got your walking boats on or your gonna have bad feet

@blasianbuns - There is a lot to see and do but it can get done in a short time. Tickets to the National Theatre are well priced, so go check out a show if you get the chance. We dined on a combination of local and foreign food, all being well apart from one Indian restaurant we chose (bland). Eat at Pork's! The city is easy to explore using public transport and the architecture is breathtaking.

The hotel arranged for a car to pick us up on arrival which was a nice change of pace after taking trains all over Germany. It was only 390 CZK so not super expensive. The room was large and clean, breakfast was wonderful. We arrived to a welcome note and chocolates. If I visit Prague in the future this will be where I stay again.
