If you’re visiting Dusseldorf in February, you’ll witness the bright parade of Carnival. If you visit in July, you can take part in the Largest Fair on the Rhine. No matter what time of year you visit you will find a city bustling with festivals, art, music and museums.
Much of the action occurs in the Old Town, otherwise known as the Longest Bar in the World due to the amount of cafes and bars serving a dark beer called “altbier”. The center was faithfully reconstructed according to the city’s foundation walls after the Second World War and offers a historical insight to the city.
Museums range in exhibitions from history at the Stadtmuseum, to fine art at Museum Kunst Palast and even to a museum dedicated to mustard. If shopping prevails over culture then head to the Königsallee, a picturesque strip of high-fashion shops set alongside a tree-lined canal.
With Düsseldorf International Airport located only 12-minutes from the city center, Düsseldorf is a great German vacation destination. Booking.com makes your holiday even easier with over 200 hotels, apartments, and other accommodations to choose from.
everything fine just confusing pincodes. There where 3 pincodes but it was not clear which one was for what? One for the entrance, one for the room and one for parking. It took 10 minutes before we could go through the parking. We tried the 3 pincodes, none was working but the it seemed that you had to press another button, which was not mentioned.

A very well-connected city with excellent public transport.
A very well-connected city with excellent public transport. You can forget about the car. Hassle-free access to the most important attraction - the fair complex (Messe Dusseldorf). Moreover, the shopping promenade is worth visiting.

City of Engineers. There are places for culture lovers. There are many different ways to spend your free time. There are enough places to eat, enjoy a glass of beer or wine. TV tower, exhibition center, BOOT2024 just great!!! I moved around the city on a scooter. Because all the places are so close.

Interesting city, but travel there by train is horrible.
Interesting city, but travel there by train is horrible. Train network itself is good, but the trains are constantly delayed, often by hours, or even completely cancelled. The problem is with the whole Düsseldorf/Köln area.

The city is quite peaceful. I liked the vibes of the city. I travelled there with my friends and had good time. The weather was awesomely nice during our stay. It was raining so we could not explore the city as we expecting to, even though it was worth.
Hope to visit again with the family ..... soon

Perhaps overlooked due its proximity to Koln, this is a great town. If visiting, stay at hotels in the Heinrich Heine Allee train stop area as that is where all the good stuff in Dusseldorf is (in my opinion). The Hauptbahnhof is a good location if you are needing to get to the airport quickly.
I think The Wellem is one of the best new hotels in Germany, up there with The Fontenay in Hamburg and The Beyond by Geisel in Munich. Spectacular location in a former court house right in the middle of Altstadt, walking distance to everything that matters in Düsseldorf. We got an upgrade to an Executive suite, which had high ceilings, large windows and a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast was high quality, unfortunately we couldn't try the restaurant, which looked very inviting. We would have stayed longer if we had had more time.
Our stay was really nice. The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us an early check in. We could help ourselves to tea and coffee in the lounge area and mulled wine in the evening. The breakfast was very good and had some nice personal touches that we liked. The hotel is not very close to city centre but there is a metro few minutes walk and then it is 3 stops to city center so that was quite convenient. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cozy. Will def stay there again
A delightful small boutique 'hotel'. The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable. A large bathroom although the shower itself was small. We arrived late in the evening and the self check-in worked perfectly using the instructions provided. The staff were friendly and provided a lovely breakfast. Access is easy from Dusseldorf city using U bahn and it is very close to the airport. The delightful Kaiserwerth village is about a 15min walk away.
The hotel is in the ideal position, near the city center and Dusseldoft Central Station. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel for five days of working at a large trade fair in Cologne. Still, everything became more accessible with a few steps to the station to take ICE, local train, or other places in the city with S-Bahn or U-banh: comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly staff, and willingness to help.
The location is excellent, on the airport side of town. Regular tram outside the door into the city centre.
We didn't have breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and cleanliness was excellent.
The hotel was by far and away the cheapest for our dates at the time and there will be a compromise with price.
It was pitched at the right price point.
We needed a hotel close to the Düsseldorf airport and you can't get any closer. You just take the lelevator from the hotel lobby, cross the street and you're in the departure hall.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice spacious comfy room and bathroom, great beds.
We had to leave very early, so didn't have breakfast, so no idea what's it like.
Cozy hotel near the city center. The location is excellent it is in walk distance from the train station and the city center.
During the Christmas weeks the main Christmas markets near the hotel. The room looks cozy, with an 80s vibe (gramophone with a few records, other cute staff).
Had a pleasant stay for a night in Düsseldorf. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom with good space. The hotel is 13min walking to little Tokyo, 15-20min to city center. We enjoyed our stay. Staffs at the breakfast were friendly and attentive. Overall was good.
😌 best hotel in dusseldorf ( we stayed in many and this one is by far the best one)
😌 very close to the U 72/73/74 whatever your heart wants ( two stops to the city center)
😌 FREE MINIBAR like whaaaat?? Crazy we love to see that
😌 amazing staff
😌 very nice sky terrace
Nice little hotel. Not close to the city centre but a few hundred metres from an underground station. Nothing fancy like tea/coffee etc but cheap and cheerful plus it was available when most Dusseldorf hotels were sold out. Fine for a one or two nighter
The biggest advantage of the hotel is definitely it's location. It is located just 300m from Central Railaway station and 15 min walk from the city center. Very convenient if you are getting there from airport by train. Breakfast is quite ok.
Lovely new hotel , clean, well organised. Attentive helpful staff who also speak English. Close to tram, bus and rail links into Dusseldorf. Easy train links to Cologne Bonn airport. Good price. Breakfast is very good value.
Reasonably close to the city centre of Dusseldorf and a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops in the area.
A pleasant square and park in front of the hotel
Comfortable bed
Modern bathroom
Hotel was located in the middle of city center, so it was incredibly easy to access everything by foot. Additionally, the hosts left tons of free treats and drinks. Very modern
Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was good, near city centre. Rooms have kitchenette and air conditioning. Breakfast was cheaper than other hotels' breakfast.
a very good hotel with underground parking and perfect staff on reception & bar. wonderful breakfast. one of the best options to stay in Dusseldorf for one/two nightss
Beautiful hotel in the city centre of Dusseldorf. The room was very comfortable, big enough for two people. Nice view from the windows. The staff was also really kind.
Very friendly staff
Excellent position, very close to the city center. Direct connection with U-Bahn
