My main reason for this trip was the frigate, i would recommend any shiplover to go there. To see all details and visit the whole exibition you should plan with a half days time 3-4 hrs min. Very nice also the old town centre with nice restaurants and icecream Bars.I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much.

We visited in winter so this was a quiet time. The main purpose of the visit was to explore the Frigate Jylland - If you are interested in naval history this is well with a visit - there is a small museum next to the ship and experts are on hand to answer your questions. All decks of the ship are accessible. Despite being out of season the museum was well attended, and the museum staff were friendly. At this time of year the town is very quiet, but we could still find places to eat and prices aren’t ridiculously high. The area seems very safe and people are trusting - we felt welcomed wherever we went. If we visit again we’ll probably go in summer so we can enjoy longer days outside.

From the house it is a short walk to the town.
From the house it is a short walk to the town. There you should take a guided tour of the Frigate Jylland and visit the Glass Museum where you watch glass items being made and exhibition of all things glass. The old town has the interesting Town Hall and also a Dye Museum retained in its entirety and the only one of its kind. We attended a service in the delightful church. Also we walked through the beautiful National Park to the Ree Park Safari (9kms) which has most wild animals that you can get very close to, or cycle or go by taxi. There was also a music festival. Plenty of delicious food available.

The main reason to visit Ebeltoft was I wanted to visit Fregatten Jylland a museum sailing vessel. The rest of the (old) town also seemed to be interesting and it was. Typical Danish, with beautiful houses and the former small townhall.
I have had diner at two places in Ebeltoft, both very good and for Danmark not really expensive.
1. Mellem Jyder, a restaurant situated in an very old building in the old town. This used to be a Kro (inn).
2. Karens Kokken, a modern brasserie at the warf of Fregatten Jylland.
This hyggelig apartment is located in the most beautiful street of Ebeltoft centre. From here you can easily reach the market place or the harbour within a few steps. The apartment is perfectly equipped with kitchen, double bed and dining table and a bathroom ensuite. The entrance to the apartment is separated from the main entrance, so you do not disturb the hosts. A car can be parked in front of the door on the private property. The hosts are very kind and respect your privacy.
We can highly recommend this apartment for your stay.
Located centrally in Ebeltoft close to the Frigate Jylland. It it’s in the old picturesque part of town and there is an Aldi supermarket about 10 mins walk away. The apartment was simple and had enough utensils and crockery to cater for our stay. We paid extra for bed linen and this was provided in sealed bags on arrival - all very clean.
Nice B&B in a private house which offers everything essential that you need. Super well located for a walk to the center of Ebeltoft while still having free parking next to the house. TV, good shower and washing machine available, quiet and calm. Super nice host. Price-quality-relation can't be better.
Lovely spacious house in a beautiful location surrounded by fields with horses and sheep.
Very comfortable and well equipped. Great outside areas to eat.
Close to the beaches around ebeltoft too, the nearest is approximately 2 miles. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to return
The view from the conservatory and patio are amazing. It's an incredibly peaceful valley yet Ebeltoft and a lovely coffee place in Mols are respectively only a 10 and 5 minute drive by car.
