Gorgeous renovated apartment in city center, right across from Lidl. Has everything you need, large variety of tea, coffee, shampoos, lotions, toothpastes, dishes, bedspreads, etc. Very comfortable and homey. Host responds quickly (10 minutes or less) to messages and the son who provided the keys was friendly and helpful. Thankfully despite the soviet building, there is no babushka wallpaper)) excellent value for a true cultural experience within easy walking distance to everything. Would absolutely rebook without question. Photos are accurate.

Narva is a peaceful city, most of the city feels like a sum of apartment buildings. The entire city is easily walkable. There are multiple shopping centers and a few cafes to eat. Good place for resting, not so much for someone looking for buzzing city life.

Narva is a very interesting little Estonian city that is mostly inhabited not by ethnic Estonians, but by ethnic Russians (which I found quite pleasing). There is an historic fortress there that I've visited in the past – primarily historic models and exhibits about campaigns of Peter the Great. The views along the river separating Estonia from Russia are quite nice and ideal for some lovely photos. Unfortunately, Narva Russians are treated with contempt and disdain by many, if not most, Estonians; it's a sad commentary on humanity. Estonian passport control and customs are quite invasive for an American citizen passing from Russia into Estonia (but survivable). In times past I have loved Narva, but sadly, the EU has made a very negative impact on this lovely little city.

The Narva castle museum was exceptional with interactive exhibits and a great view of the castle on the Russian side from the tower and the ramparts. Enjoyed eating in Narva and getting a taste for another side of Estonia!

Narva is the third largest town in Estonia, but not visited...
Narva is the third largest town in Estonia, but not visited by local and international tourists nearly enough. It has developed a lot during the past 10 years or so with sightseeing locations having been renovated, more restaurants opened, etc. Narva still tends to get a bad rap due to its difficult history (98% of old town bombed to the ground in WW2, most of the population made up of Soviet settlers and their descendants), but in reality it is a town like any other. It is actually a surprisingly green town (lots of greenery) and getting around is easy (I recommend using Bolt rental scooters). Sure, there are more abandoned buildings and less real estate development than in other larger Estonian towns, but the overall picture is actually very nice. I definitely recommend taking a few days to visit Narva. You might get positively surprised. And while you are there, take some more time to look around the rest of Ida-Virumaa county. Quite a lot of activities have been developed in the region during the past 10-20 years.

Narva is a forgotten but interesting old town in the very East of Estonia. Despite is has been seriously devastated during the WW2, it still has a lot of historical and beautiful buildings, and first of all, the Castle. The view across the river to Russian Ivangorod Castle is thriving and captivating. Furthermore, an easy overground border crossing in proximity of train/bus connections is a budget option for transit between the countries

It is a little sleepy town full of old encampments worth to take a tour. I never had time to do so, but maybe one day. Calm, relaxing, easygoing. For me it was always a transit town, but I would gladly stay at least a day, time permitting.
Amazing apartment. Spacious and modern, equipped with all needed supplies. Very comfortable. Perfect to stay with family and kids: there are some toys and a 2-levels bed that my son loved.
Very friendly and thoughtful owner who provided a parking pass and was ready to answer any questions at any time.
Apartment is situated on the 5th floor in the building without an elevator a bit further from the city center. It took us about 5 min drive to reach the Narva castle.
There's a big 24h supermarket not far from the house. Very convenient.
We like everything about the apartment, but above all I liked the hosts. They are very friendly and helped me with a problem with the ferry from Narva, which, by the way, is a beautiful city. It is also true that the apartment is much nicer than in the photos. Valerie, Serguei: please change the photos!! your apartment is much nicer and close to a large commercial area, gas stations and fast food stands. It has been wonderful to have met you and to be in your apartment
Narva Hotel is a 5 mins walk from the Estonia- Russian Border and 5 mins walk from the train station, so very conveniently located for leisure or business top-over. The hotel has a nice restaurant, which has a variety of food (not the cheapest option) but you feel comfortable and can hang out there. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms are very nice with all requirements.
The location is central. The price to value ratio is very good. The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, there were even free slippers and bathrobes in the room, also tea, instant coffee and some sweets, as well as soap, dish washing liquid, tableware, TV, fridge, and a tabletop fan.
Interiordesigned appartment in Sovjet-block, most surprising. Sweet landlady+english speeking grandson. I have never seen an apparment this clean. Perfect. Ideally situated to get the feel of a Estonian-Russian city, and visit the border and castle. Parking place with owners permit in front of the house.
The property has a very friendly staff that was very kind and very informative. The property’s location is very nice with its views and is a unique experience. The property is also located in a great central location 15min walk from the train Station.Entrance to the castles museum included.
The hotel is nice and cozy, it is situated in the heart of Narva, in a short walking distance from all significant places and sites of the town. There's no breakfast included but all guests can have water and hot drinks corner in the common corridor.
Incredible location, right next to the train station. Really comfortable and clean apartment, and the hosts were super friendly and responsive! This is the perfect place to stay if you visit Narva!
Everything was wonderful. In my opinion, the best combination of price and quality in this city. In the future, when visiting Narva, I will stay in this place. I give the owners 10 points.
Room was nice and cozy! Very fun experience in Narva - our kids loved staying in the castle! We loved the chance to explore the Northern yard and have a campfire.
The staff is nice and the breakfast was good. Would stay there again if I find myself in Narva. There were always Bolt scooters in front, which was handy.
