Mango Guesthouse was easily one of the best places I have ever stayed, one feels like at home from the moment you arrive! The staff and owner are super friendly and helpful. There is always fresh coffee and tea, the rooms are spacious and extremely clean , and all possible excursions are booked within minutes (one must also try the food which one can order, just yummy!)

The guest house is conveniently located just a short walking distance from the ferry station on Elephantine island, the facilities are well maintained and the room was very comfortable and clean, with a high pressure shower that was a relief after a day in the sun. The hosts are most welcoming and always there to help and support, including offering to organize day programs to surrounding sightseeings. The front garden is lovely and gets a nice evening breeze.

the whole staff was super friendly and helpful, the owner is such a lovely lady and the location is just perfect for going to the mainland or exploring the island. They also served us vegan food for breakfast and prepared us breakfast for our 4am trip to Abu simbel! We loved that they offered very cheap water and drinks at the location.

Really great hotel, nice location (on the island, but a short ferry ride away, and much calmer and peaceful than Aswan), nice garden area, really great staff, booked Abu Simbel and a cruise to Luxor, for much less than what I saw online. Also, eat in King Jamaica if you're there, really good food.

This is a lovely chilled out place on the very relaxing Elephantine Island. A beautiful oasis from the hectic rest of Aswan. Everything was really clean and convenient. The staff helped us arrange a trip to Abu Simbel. The ferry across from Aswan is quick and very cheap, I'd 100% recommend staying on the island, it's so lovely and will give you a chance to rebuild your energy between forrays into Aswan and other parts of Egypt!

Fantastic guesthouse, easily accessible from the west bank by a fixed price ferry( no haggling required). There is a great restaurant with delicious tagine and beer at the landing. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Egypt and could have stayed for a week.

Stayed 3 nights in the Queen Suite. One room had the Queen Bed. The main room had 2 single beds. We had access to the balcony. Bathroom was spacious with a shower. Hot water was limited, but it was not unbearable. The bathroom is a bit of a wet room so you will need to use the squeegee they provide to remove excess water on the floor. Despite being hot outside, the room was cool with the ceiling fans on. Loved the front garden and the rooftop restaurant. The staff was super friendly and easy to communicate with. They helped arrange transportation to the Mango House from the airport and booked us a tour to Abu Simbel. They also helped us get dinner despite arriving late at night.
