The hotel has friendly staff, is a clean hotel, and has a great location. The room and balcony was a bit small, but I do think that is related to the location, what to expect in the city centre?

As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Sipping fresh, local orange juice, whilst enjoying tasty tapas in a pavement café, is not to be missed.
Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.
As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city centre hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also offers guest houses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

it was easy to get around with public transport or you could walk to a lot of places. people were very very helpful but you do need a map.
all the cafes/restaurants were very cheap and the food was good (although sometimes you got plates at different times which we are not used to) but all adds to the charm .

Valencia is charming, it has a nice relaxed feel about it. The indoor market is a must, Cathedral is lovely and the Science park and Oceanografic is a must also. Beaches are a short distance with lots of restaurants. I would say it has everything you could wish for in a holiday

I’ve marked all wort to visit objects of València before arrival as the most tourist do. And skipped a lot of them. Let me explain.
The most of catholic churches look the same everywhere, “plaza” is an empty space unless filled with people and action. I’ve walked around old town for half a day blended in to the crowd, observing, listening, getting sense of interactions, mood and
building the sense of culture here.
But, futuristic looking Science Center with IMAX Hemisphere and Ocean Center are unique to València. Inspiring architecture, live and interesting experiences there contributed to overall picture of València and its heritage.
Please bear in mind that old riverbed with multiple parks and playa de la Malvarossa are another pieces not to be left out.
I’ve stopped at Granier for a cup of coffee Cortado. Unfortunately, as a solo traveler I couldn’t get a seat at the famous paella house La Pepica. Maybe next time.

Valencia is one of those rare cities where you can combine city centre sightseeing with a day or more at the beach.
We went to Madrid last October and Valencia is in my opinion less polished but perhaps that makes it more authentic. And Madrid doesn't have an enormous beach & marina does it?
The Metro is very easy to negotiate and cheap! 13 euros for unlimited 3 days of use.
Metro / tram stations are not as regular in the city centre as perhaps I'd have liked but the ticket covers the buses as well but we just walked a bit further
we did 4 days 3 nights but truth is we would happily have stayed longer
Certainly worth a visit

Fantastic city to visit.
Fantastic city to visit. The parks and gardens that cut through the city are wonderful to walk through - or ride a bike through. So much to see here - we walked to Mercado Central, Torres de Serranos, Font del Turia, Placa de la Reina, Placa Redonda and a local fiesta was on with locals dressed in traditional clothes. Had a wonderful day here. Unfortunately as it was a Monday some museums etc were closed but would happily return to visit the things we missed. Also of course the Aquarium and Science Park were very impressive - even just viewed from outside! Beautiful city both modern and historic and very easy to get around.

The place has been upgrade based on the surrounding buildings and a bit off the main tourist attractions. 10 minutes walk to the hop-on-hop-off bus pick up. The units are very clean except for an occasional drain pipe smell that can be alleviated by leaving the a/c on. Grocery stores are right outside the building and a money exchange and small department store, so you have access to the things you need. There are two Framacia in the neighborhood, so you are well accommodated. Very cute space with a small elevator for handicap accessibility.
Location is 5 star, I used the local transportation only to go to the beach and airport, otherwise everything is max 20 min walk. Many restaurant and facilities are just at the corner of the hotel. Staff are super nice, helpful and available 24/7. Breakfast is minimal but okay. This hotel was one of the cheapest in the Valencia center for a solo traveler and it is good they offer "low cost" option. The pipe noise is something I expected from the previous comments so that was okay for me and did not disturb.
Great to see the hotel had Gluten free options available and when we signed in they double checked it with us. Room was very spacious, Breakfast was excellent with plenty available and we like that you had your own serving tongs for the food. Cost of beverages in the hotel was very reasonable in fact coffee and tea was cheaper in the hotel than many of the cafes and they served it after 11am.
Staff were excellent and the room was cleaned every day
Just a great hotel with cheap parking, one or 2 good cheap eating places very close, superb soundproofing to the street and kind staff. I would only suggest a blanket in the cupboard in case you feel cold (saves on putting the airon on all night!) I appreciate the eco gesture of only cleaning towels every 3 days but that blanket would also save on electricity.
The breakfast was good. The location was good, very close to the old city. Cozy and clean rooms and friendly staff. Especially the host named “Nuno” he helped me when I lost my credit card at an atm and let me use his phone to call my bank since my phone did not work during my trip to Spain. He was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Nuno.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and for sure next time we will stay there again. We liked everything from communication with staff, easy access, extreme cleanliness, the perfect location ( you have everything that you need next to you)! One of the best hotels in Valencia value for money.
Location was excellent! The tram and metro are in front of the hotel. So in less then 15 minutes you are in the old centre or on the beach. Room is perfect for a city trip. Everyday cleaning and the beds were really comfy. Good price for the type of room/hotel that you get! Would recommend!
Breakfast was nice but it was mainly sweet pastries though. Location wasn’t bad it isn’t in the city centre but trains are very easy to navigate and it’s only about 5 stops from everything. 72 hour travel pass is 13 euros so it is cheaper to stay in this hotel and travel.
Breakfast good! The beach side terras is great, the other terras is not good enough ..~Unbeliveble you do not have beds on the beach, I now it's public but have a good amount of beds for the hotel guest and rent the other amount to public guest for a lot of money.
The palacio vallier was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 3week trip through Spain. Room size and amenities were outstanding, staff was gracious and helpful, location was perfect for accessibility to everything and breakfast/ bar service was first rate!
Great boutique hotel in the old town of Valencia. It is within walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants. Reception staff were very pleasant and lobby is a nice place to sit and relax. The bedroom was a reasonable size and a nice continental breakfast.
Fine quality for a 3-star hotel. Staff was helpful and nice. The area of Mestalla is pretty well connected, being conveniently positioned between the beach, Ciudad de las Artes and Old Town. Also, very good and cheap breakfast.
The hotel is well maintained - our room was spacious, with a large modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and the location right on the beach and close to good restaurants was wonderful.
My first stop in my 6 week solo travel through Spain. After long flight, I was pleasantly surprised to find my little balcony overlooking the plaza. Great location.
great hotel super friendly staff and delicious breakfast, especially our room window providing the great view of old town of Valencia. I will definitely come back.
Excellent room, comfortable bed, breakfast was so amazing the best we have ever had in Spain. Restaurant has good food and service. Next to the bus station.
