We have returned to Cordoba perhaps a dozen times, and have always stayed at Las Casas de la Juderia, except for the occasional desire to explore. Las Casas however, is now an integral part of our Cordoba experience.
Cordoba is an easy city to walk, the sites, dining and shopping. The day starts with the 8:30 brief walk through the Mezquita (no entrance fee), breakfast, walk the town., light lunch, usually boqerones en vingre, walk some more. Then hit the beautiful pool with my book 4ish, and out for tapas around 6, and later a restaurant or more tapas.
Cordoba is glorious, the people, sites, food and is very courteous and polite. The alluring Moorish influence is everywhere.
Cordoba (and Sevilla) are as special to me as Florence and Salzburg, BUT DIFFERENT!

This is my second visit to Cordoba.
This is my second visit to Cordoba.
The city is rich in culture and history.
I like wandering through the Jewish Quarter, take a walking tour and learn of the peaceful co-existence once shared by Muslims Jews.
Learn about the wise physicians who performed eye operations nearly 1000 years ago.
The Cathedral Mosque is a must see.
Walk across the Roman Bridge in the evening and see the Cathedral lit up.

The weather was shitty the weekend (36 hours) we were there but that din't take away from the awesomness of the mosque/cathedral. That alone would have been worth the trip.
Also great the Palace of Viana.
LIke most of Spain Cordoba needs a bit of sun to truely shine, but it is a place I would go back to.

We enjoyed the Roman Bridge, the Mosque-Cathedral (and bell tower), the Alcazar, and the Equestrian Show at the Royal Stables. We thought these activities were good value for money, especially the Alcazar with its beautiful gardens. We really enjoyed wandering through the narrow streets etc… Overall, Cordoba exceeded our expectations.
We stayed for two nights visiting Cordoba. We received a warm, friendly and helpful welcome. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the centre in a quiet suburb. A taxi to the centre costs around EUR10. It's a fairly large hotel in a park setting, lots of grass and trees. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was very spacious and comfortable. There are function rooms and conference facilities. Our dog was welcome, which is not always the case in Spain. We had a meal in the restaurant, which was good but the menus was limited.
Very helpful staff, and friendly. Nice, big comfortable bed. Good shower. Great location, right next to la Gran Mezquita. Underground parking. We ate breakfast out of the hotel on the 1st day, but 2nd day we ate in the hotel. Breakfast good, plenty of choice - cereals, cakes, bacon, sausage, cold meats, cheeses, breads, jams, juice, tea, coffee. Reasonably priced too, in comparison with other Eurostars I've stayed at in Spain. Overall, ideal for a short break.
Beautiful hotel steeped in history with the most friendly staff I have ever experienced. Outstanding attention to detail. Amazing that it is built over a 1st century Roman ruin (which you can view) and the hotel itself is part of a 16th Century Andalusian villa. The use of the Roman baths is fun and unique. Delicious breakfast and lovely pool and garden area to relax in after exploring the ancient sites of Cordoba.
Wonderful host! The hotel is creatively designed to incorporate parts of the original building. It has charming seating areas and three stunning terraces. The room we had was interior facing but had wonderful light and privacy. We chose to have breakfast which was generous and delicious. The room was spacious and amenities provided such as water, truffles, safe, robes. One of our favorite places in Spain.
The staff are extraordinary. When I was sick, they arranged for me to get excellent medical support and organised communication and transport with no fuss. Day to day service is excellent as well. The team is friendly and super professional. Hotel Madinat will book you into a session at a hammam in close walking distance. This place is beautiful, historic and serene. Don't miss it, choose a quiet time.
The clerk at check in was fantastic, he was very enthusiastic and friendly. Gave us a map and told us about the best things to do/places to eat in Cordoba. The location is superb, literally right next to the Mosque Cathedral and within walking distance to everything. Great value for the location. The hotel is very charming and beautiful with a nice terrace inside of it as well.
Breakfast is very expensive at 14 euros per head (ouch!). Significant because in Spain the restaurants open late therefore might like to breakfast at the hotel. Also location means verhy few value for money dining facilities nearby. Also, at an expensive hotel like this one, I expected tea/coffee maaking facilities in the room
Good value hotel right in the center , room very clean and basic, breakfast fantastic to kick off the day , finally the best of the hotel the duo in reception Miguel y Erik very professional and with talent and amiability toward customers . Would definitely come come back
The hotel is a stone throw away from the Mesquita mosque (if it is not on your bucket list, it should). The rooms are great. A very good base to explore and love Córdoba.
The hotel offers access to a parking a few hundred yard away, and that is a big plus.
Amazing hostel! The best I stayed in during my 2 weeks in Spain. Big room, with nice clean beds. Nice kitchen area. But really the room and bathrooms were the highlight. Was finally able to take an enjoyable shower and have good sleep!
Sweet, comfortable apartment in a very central location. This was on of our favorite stays in Spain. Great location and just steps to hop on hop off bus. The whole apartment was well done. Everything you’ll need. Great value.
This is luxurious hotel located near Plaza de las Tendillas. Great location to walk to sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room. Secure and clean. Best hotel of my 2 weeks in Spain. Also best priced hotel.
Clean, great facilities (I especially appreciated having access to the kitchenette and washing machine) and the room was spacious. The bed was so comfortable. I had the best sleep of my entire trip in Spain.
I have stayed in about 100 apartments in the last four years in Spain and this was definitely number one. Didn’t even really want to leave the apartment and the host was very nice and responsive
Location was great really close to main atractions, Cordoba is a really beautiful city this hotel was well locate, breakfast was excelent, people at the frontdesk really nice very clean hotel.
The most beautiful hotel I think I've ever been to in my life. It was quiet, spacious, with great facilities and very friendly staff. I can't wait to come back to Spain to stay here again!
Very cozy and chic boutique hotel that’s at the center of Cordoba. The staff were cheerful and helpful, giving us tips of good places to eat and visit, and accompanied us to the parking.
This was the best serviced hotel I stayed in Spain. All staff was very helpful and friendly which a bit difficult to find in large and chain hotels in Spain.
