Toledo is a very busy town, but in keeping with its historic character, the streets are very narrow, cobbled, winding, and mostly very steep, except in the central squares. The high proportion of virtually silent electric vehicles, which drive very rapidly and agressively, means that you often find a vehicle on your heels, and you have to step into a doorway to make room for it to pass. It is not a town I would recommend to anyone with any mobility difficulties or sight impairment, as roads and pathways are often in poor repair and can easily cause falls. However, if you enjoy looking around medieval religious buildings there are many to choose from. We visited the Roman Baths, which was interesting, with very informative staff. A good map from the Tourist Information offices, or the hotel, is essential to keep your bearings.
We greatly enjoyed the Tourist Train (which seemed to be really good value compared with the Tourist Bus). We saw the key points in the town, and also were taken beyond the walls to look across the river from a distance.
The highlight of our time there was the day we decided to do a circuit of the town along the riverbank, with only the need for a short stretch on the roads. It was very beautiful, peaceful, and you could see the remains of many interesting buildings and bridges from a different perspective, alongside a range of wildlife and vegetation.

A very interesting hillside town, worth staying several days as opposed to a day trip from Madrid. More historical than Madrid and far easier to walk around ( but there are some hills!). Good walks in the surrounding countryside to admire the town. We came at Christmas and the lights were fantastic and more densely presented than the equivalent in Madrid.
Everything is cheaper than Madrid as well, what’s not to like !

Beautiful city, but very hilly so could be difficult for some. We went to see the Christmas lights and markets and the atmosphere was very festive. It was a Saturday near Christmas so was very very busy. We were only there for one evening and went on the little train which gave us a fantastic view of the city

Toledo is a lovely hill top city, with wonderful varied architecture, small streets, good shopping and excellent restaurants. It is not a driving city, walking only. Parking is available in the city itself, however do ck your GPS - we had some interesting directions from Maps....
There is a wonderful train station - worth going to visit. they also have a great connection to Madrid (1 hr)
Well worth a visit.
The rooms were very spacious and clean.
Parking is ample. Pool was nice. Reception area had a very nice smell to it.
Cesar Salad was great.
There is a gentleman there called Oscar. He is an amazing gentleman. He worked so hard and went above and beyond to make all of us comfortable over our stay. He is a testament to your Hotel.
Please look into providing training or management opportunities for this man. He will absolutely represent your company in the best possible light.
Oscar… from the Bride and Groom .. Thank you my friend.
The owner, Adil, was extremely helpful on arrival, including with our luggage and with parking the car. He even provided clothes washing liquid when he realised we wanted to use the washing machine. The view was one of a kind looking right at the old bridge crossing into old Toledo town. It truly was soundproof and safe. The decor was very tasteful and modern and the apartment lacked nothing.
Brand new facilities, with extra comfortable beds, stylish decor, and all nowadays technologies. Communication with the host was exceptional. Even you are located in the best spot of Toledo's old town, there is no street noise or etc. Guys - this is a different level, but every one of you has to try booking this place. You will not regret it. Well well recomended!
Check-in was a bit confusing, they did not have our reservation at first but they were eventually able to find it. Parking is around the block but easy to access and reasonably priced. Breakfasts were nice, I especially loved their tortilla. It was nice staying outside old Toledo, the hotel is situated close enough for a quick walk to the city for sightseeing.
Beautiful location in the old town of toledo. Quiet and far from the touristic side. Very near to all that was needed. We had breakfat in the old town each morning and found great places to eat for dinner. The hotel is very comfortable and warm. Everything worked well and was very elegantly done. Importantly for us the bed was excellent!
Small, charming hotel/B&B, with great location very close to the Toledo Cathedral. Very helpful and friendly service, including restaurant recommendations, help with transportation. Good breakfast, charming quiet room, good air conditioning and WiFi. (One reviewer said, "No English spoken", but that definitely was not our experience.)
A very nice hotel indeed. We couldn't find a decent open restaurant in Toledo (the city seems to cater for day-trippers?) so we used the hotel restaurant - very classy indeed, ultra modern food and presentation. Indeed, breakfast was in a similar vein and no complaints from us.
Excellent location on the hills south of the River Tajo. Unique building with good access to the gardens. Very comfortable room with a great view to the Old Town of Toledo. It was only a short walk from the Hotel to the old town.
A pleasant welcome from the lady receptionist.
the rooms were spacious and super comfortable! the hotel is all about the views of Toledo and relaxing! wonderful patio with food and drink service. the breakfast was really good as well! parking was a breeze right out front of the hotel. loved our stay!!!
Great view of the river and a castle outlook. Easy walk to all the best parts of Toledo with great restaurants very close. Quite spacious with nice decor making it a comfortable relaxing retreat after a long day walking around the sights.
The hotel is ideally located, only a few hundred metres away from the magnificent cathedral. The street is extremely narrow, but the hotel staff is extremely helpful with parking. The terrace on the top offers an excellent view.
The location and view are very good, looking at the old town Toledo.
The bus stop to the city center is in front of the hotel (Bus come every hour).
10-15 minutes walk down hill to Sans Martin bridge.
Breakfast is standard.
Hotel is great if you are visiting Toledo by car since is very difficult to park in the city
Room was large and nice
Very good breakfast buffet with lots of options
Very nice building, pool and gardens
Very nice Hotel , clean rooms and not far from main cathederal. The rooftop terrace was absolutely fantastic to sit and enjoy the amazing view of Toledo. Staff on front desk were extremely helpful.
The best and most beautiful hotel I ever stayed in. A lovingly renovated old building, extremely silent and located smack in the center of the town, right next to the incredible cathedral.
Very quaint and unique boutique hotel. Outstanding staff. Rooftop terrace with gorgeous views. Hidden gem. Perfect location tucked away from the more touristy spots.
The location is perfect. The hotel is in the beginning of the old town and looks like a castle. The ambience is traditional for Toledo. The breakfast was good.
