This is a family run business and as such it has character and is not ‘cookie-cutter’ corporate. You can see the pride, generosity and care put into the hotel. Mila and David went out of their way to help us with a ticketing difficulty. The desk is attended 24 hours a day which is so much better than worrying about meeting up with ‘hosts’. It is 20 metres to the Opera metro stop. The room was beautifully serviced.

This is the ideal location to visit Madrid and get to know its every charm. You are footsteps steps from the metro stop, Opera, which can take you to other parts of the Spanish capital. Reach many attractions on foot such as the Royal Palace with its impressive gardens. The Oriente has rooms with marble bathrooms and charming decor. Wooden furniture and bed frames are complemented by pretty fabrics to create a homely and inviting ambience. A vending machine is located in the communal area of the Oriente where you can purchase hot and cold drinks.
