A Benidorm trip can be full of hussle and bussel if that's what you want or it can be relaxing and chilled if required , there's so many options, the beaches are great , there's plenty of bars with fantastic entertainment, there are so many restaurants serving a variety of different foods and the value for money is excellent.

The range of eating places were great, eat a lot in the Grand National cafe, food was excellent. Also visited Benidorm Palace, food and entertainment was fantastic. Bars were very busy and noisy. Getting around was easy although we walked quite a lot. The route of the open top bus service could be better explained.

Benidorm is a location for a wide variety of travellers.
Benidorm is a location for a wide variety of travellers.
The Levante beach caters for people enjoying bars, entertainment and partying. This is where the image of Benidorm often comes from.
On the Poniente beach we stayed on it was quiet and peaceful. The old town is between the two beaches so you can always walk from one to the other in around 20 minutes.
A 20-minute taxi ride gets you to the Benidorm Palace which puts on a brilliant meal and show evening. We went in at 8pm and came out after midnight.
The taxi prices were also good and they're plentiful to take you home.
If you enjoy walking along a beach with occasional stops for coffee/ice cream then the Poniente beach is great. There are also a couple of loverly parks to walk in.
I'd recommend it for a holiday break.

We stayed for a group party and it’s a great spot for that purpose. Levante area is for youth and parties, whereas Benidorm itself is more cultural and for family stays.
Be careful of the beggars and pick pockets late at night when you’re drunk.

I would never have considered staying in Benidorm because of its reputation for tourists behaving badly. I am British and I know that the Brits have some of the worst reputation. I came with a friend who'd stayed the previous March to escape the British winter and she convinced me that staying in the old town would be ok. That did make a big difference to me, We were there for the Fallas which was interesting but also for St Patrick's Day which brought in a lot of boozy, badly behaved British and Irish so I kept well clear. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the beaches, especially Mal Pas which we loved. The proximity to the sea, the old town and the lovely places to eat were the highlights and I would thoroughly recommend Taberna Andaluza for great Spanish cuisine. For self-catering, the nearby Mercadona supermarket was very convenient. Benidorm was much busiier than I expected in March and my friend said it had been much quieter the previous year. I thought the buses were very good value. I would avoid the area known as the strip where the worst behaviour tends to happen but walking along both beach fronts, the Poniente and the Levante was great for leisurely walking with lovely sea air, albeit perhaps too many people for strolling along comfortably.
Right from the welcome text on booking the staff were so helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast was excellent, plenty fresh fruit, breads, pastries and hot food too.
The location of the hotel is perfect right in the old town and three minutes walk to the beach. And being on a pedestrian street there is no traffic noise. Excellent stay and great value for money. If we return to Benidorm we would book it again without hesitation
The Deluxe Room on the corner of the seventh floor was stunning with floor to ceiling glass walls and a fantastic view of Benidorm and the sea. The room was huge with a massive bed and a double spa bath! The linen and towels were great quality and breakfast was excellent. The position of the hotel midway between the new and the old town and a few minutes from the beach is perfect
Property was comfortable, great facilities (e.g coffee machine, fans in the bedrooms, iron), pretty basic but a good base for a busy holiday in Benidorm and the location of the property was amazing - right on the beach and 30 secs from the old town, 15-20 mins to the new town. Shared hallway was spotless and the balcony was spacious, a fab place to spend time.
I had a wonderful stay at Casa del Mar, very cozy apartment in the center of Benidorm. The location is perfect, close to everything. I loved the narrow streets of the old town, the balcony with flowers. A square with amazing sea views is just steps away. The check-in was easy and fast, and the host gave me some useful tips. I will definitely come back here.
Loved the decor and the roof top pool .
Breakfast was really good with alot of choices.
Every part of the hotel was spotless and the staff were very nice and always very helpful .
We always went to The Belroy next door for years but will definitely be going to The Agir Springs again on our next trip to Benidorm
An excellent hotel - at a wonderful price. Exceptionally clean rooms with everything that I needed within. Beautifully comfy bed... Just a perfect stay on the edge of Benidorm's old town. Really grateful that I was able to check in early as well given I arrived into Benidorm earlier than expected.
It's our preferred hotel when we look for a trip to Benidorm. Staff are lovely and helpful, the rooms are well presented with a useful small fridge, good size bathroom, always very clean. The location is excellent situated right next to the Poniente beach and a short walk to the Old Town.
The staff were so kind and the hotel was impeccably clean. The room was well-decorated, the bed was comfortable, the restaurant balcony was beautiful and the breakfast package was totally worth it. The hotel location is right on the beach and only a few buildings away from the boardwalk.
Great basic hotel right in the heart of Benidorm's Old Town. The rooms are very clean, comfy beds and great shower. TV is Spanish but it has the dual function. The breakfast was really good and lovely coffee. All staff were wonderful. Perfect for a weekend stay.
The owners couldnt do enough for us, what ever you need they can get it for you. Hotel iris is in the centre of old town benidorm with everything at your finger tips. The hotel is clean, neat and a little gem for your stay. we will be back for a stay again.
Great location in the heart of New Town, at the town centre end of Calle Gerona. So easy to get to the beach, sea front, bars and shopping quarter. Hotel staff were also absolutely superb and extremely helpful.
I liked the location of the hotel ideal for everywhere e g the beach .nice walks shops eating you out and bars all kinds to suit everyone
And the buzz you feel when you walk the streets of the Old Town
this hotel is very good position for the old town of benidorm and the beaches. the room was a good size and very clean. the breakfast offered both continental and an english and very good choice .
Clean modern hotel 15/20 mins walk from Benidorm old town, and around 50mins from Cala. Id say it feels more like a city hotel that is fine for a few nights.
